Your characters are excellent! I am having a hard time deciding between the clock and the student, but the clock seems like it would print better on a T-shirt. The student is good too, but the detail gets lost at a smaller size. Anything you can do to change the contrast with the student a bit to make them stand out when it shrinks?
Hi apologize for the delay. Here are the refined version for the student #70 #71 #72 I made the character with more cool and mature looks for 17-24 student. Let me know what you think
One is to make the clock look more clock-like. My wife thinks he looks more like the moon with legs. :) Can you add the alarm bells to the top of his head? Change the face a bit to emphasize the clock aspect?
Second, can I see a variant of the guy-in-the-magnifying-glass with a college aged girl? Maybe nerdy and maybe more sorority like...I don't know which would look better. I'm having a hard time seeing a guy on campus wear either one of the two "guy" logos you have so far.
Also, please change the tag line to a darker grey so it stands out more.
as for the alarm bells, I'm afraid I cannot use that since there are another designer which already using that concept.. what do you think? Or maybe I can try another version using calendar as the character?
I would prefer the alarm bells, particularly since that designer isn't in the running for first anymore.
If you want to try a calendar character, I'm open to that.
You didn't quite get my previous request about tick marks--I didn't mean the check marks on the clipboard (those were fine as green), I meant the minute marks on the face of the clock. Can you please set those to a darker gray for better visibility?
OK, I've decided that my rankings for #87 (website) and #85 (t-shirt) are the winners. I'll select you and #87 as the winners, but I would definitely like both logos because they play better in their respective places.
Can you please provide the file in PSD format? I don't know why the contest said "EPS" because that's the worst format ever to use when trying to get other formats back. :)
PSD is preferred, along with PNGs.
You can include ALL files in the ZIP if you like. Or email the second portrait one to me directly: daver@skylineconsult.com
Did you receive my email about changing the color of the word Schedule? The yellow/green gradient wasn't as obvious in the contest--when I got the files from you, I was able to see it more clearly. That change will make it show up better on t-shirts.
Specifically, reading the contract, I believe I can ask for a "solid color" version of the Portrait logo so that it prints better on a t-shirt. Please send that ASAP.
