Thanks. Sorry I'm not communicating it well. In this context, when I'm speaking of the Travel line, that line is composed of 3 parts: a literal line, the word TRAVEL, and another literal line. I think that line, in and of itself, is perfect as it is. Assuming that these three components are connected, grab and drag them just a tiny bit lower. The result will be that there is just a tiny bit more space between this line (with its 3 components) and the SCHECKTREK line.

By the way, I want to take this opportunity to tell you how very happy I am that you have agreed to work with me on our logo! I am absolutely thrilled with your work, and several people have said how they feel that your design (referring especially to the first- and second-ranked ones) capture the feeling of our agency. I am very detail-oriented (as you would know!), and you have been very patient and accommodating. Thank you so much!

Hi again, Novita. In discussing the line that says TRAVEL, I like it exactly the way it's designed, including the length/width of the lines at the beginning and end. What I'm wondering is if that whole line can be dropped just a hair (a tiny bit) so that there's just a bit more space between that line and the SCHECKTREK line. And then, of course, the whole thing will need to be centered appropriately in relation to the medallion (not sure what we call the decorative part! ;)). Thanks!

This makes me happy. :) I'm wondering if the font size(s) for SCHECKTREK should be taken down one size. Not sure about TRAVEL. Even though the company name is the "important" part, I don't want it to detract from the design. ;)

I really like the taupe background, but have decided I should probably do the practical thing. I can use this without having a taupe square on things. I know it's early to say yet, as the contest isn't over yet, but if I go with you, would you be willing to provide both the landscape and portrait options of the design chosen? That way it would work for the website (landscape) as well as note cards, etc. (portrait). Or will you provide vector files?

I think I prefer the crown on the top of the design. Thanks for trying it both ways for me.

Can you tell me if this is a very dark color, or is it black? No need to change it at this point, but if I went with it, I would want black.

I think the line is a very good addition. There are a lot of curved lines (which I requested), so I think the straight line helps to cut that in a really nice way.

Thank you, Novita. This competition is becoming increasingly difficult to decide! This general design, with its variations, occupies the 1st position, and another general design, with its variations, occupies the 2nd position (though it doesn't show in the 2nd position because I have them grouped). We're getting down to the nitty gritty now. ;)

Thank you for making this shorter and adding the crown. I might prefer the relative simplicity of not having the crown over the S, but was wondering what it would be like at the very top. It might not work. If it did, it would need to be very simple, like the crown in number 37.

Also, for stationery and my website, I will need a landscape version of this. Would you mind providing that, where the decorative part would be on the left and ScheckTrek Travel (same font, etc. as here) would be to the right of that.

Also, can you please confirm that, if chosen, you can provide vector files? Thank you again. You do marvelous work!

Or maybe this one will be moved to first place--hard to say! Two suggestions would be (1) could we "squash" it a bit so the height and width are the same? And (2) what would happen if we put a small crown at the top, maybe like the one in 36 and 37? Thank you!

Moving this to first place. I like that the icon looks a bit more square. The others seemed taller than they were wide, but I don't know if this is just an optical illusion that it looks less tall. Anyway, I like it.

Thank you! We're getting closer to what I had in mind, and this has been moved to first place. My husband asked if, in ScheckTrek, we could leave the S and T the size they are, but slightly reduce the size in the rest of the word. (TRAVEL is fine the way it is.)

I would also like to play with different options for the circle in the middle. (1) Leave it blank (taupe). (2) Make it metallic silver. (3) Leave it taupe but put a silver S in it in a script font. (4) Or have a simple S in the center without a circle around it at all or any of those other lines within the circle. The top and bottom of the S would be where the outside circle lines are now, but the center design would be much simpler. (5) Maybe there's some other option I'm not thinking of, but to me, the things that are going on inside the circle are detracting from the look I think we could have otherwise with this. Not sure what the answer is yet. I even wondered about a very small checkerboard pattern inside the circle area. Thank you again. I really appreciate this!

Thank you, Novita! You did exactly what I asked, and now I realize that what I asked might not be the best. Would it be too much trouble to try it in metallic silver, and if the highlights in the silver can be made horizontal, that might be good too (but a small point). For the darker option, maybe the taupe background would be good.

Novita, thank you for the additional designs. You are working hard, but they are all variations of this design. If we decide to go with this general design, then I would like to work with you on my specific requests for it. However, if someone else comes in with something that looks more like the attachments I sent, then they might steal the victory from you.

As for this one and the one with reverse coloring, they have a heavily Asian look. I do book Asia (and get jealous of my clients who go there), but I don't want the logo to look heavily slanted toward one region or another. Thank you again.

I'm referring to the sort of sweeping swirls and flourishes-type of design that's in many of the attachments.

I am very impressed. For now I've moved this into first place, but I'm still hoping that there will be something that more closely resembles the feel of the attachments I sent. I think you'll get a better idea from the attachments I sent, rather than the six I chose from Logo Tournament's offerings on the attachment. Even though I really did like the latter, I'm hoping for something more like the attachments. This option from you did make me smile, though, in a good way.

Just FYI, in the small versions of this, it looks like a beetle. ;) You do good work, though, so keep it up.

As you know, one of yours is currently in first place, but I will comment on this one anyway. It's too pointed, and someone could think there's a cross in it (which wouldn't be good for some of my clients, e.g., Jewish). You do good work. I would suggest referring to the attachments I sent more than the ones Logo Tournament offered me to choose from. Thank you so much for your submissions!

I actually like the dark background a lot. Just thinking about printer ink, but could still decide to go with the dark.

You cleverly got the ST and crown in there. A bit angular for me, prefer more sweeps and swirls. Also prefer larger, more rounded or squared icon (rather than coming to sort of a point at the bottom). I guess more symmetrical edges is what I'm trying to say. But good job. For now this is ranked in first place.
