The concept of this logo is to show a nice, clean, professional logo that radiates a simple elegant feel. The star by the SKS is a nice spark to catch someones eye to the rest of the colors, drawing the customers eyes to the logo, having them look from top to bottom of the logo, leaving an impression and becoming a rememberable logo.
We really like the concept. We would be interested in seeing a more eclectic design of the "spark" and would appreciate some different color combinations to gauge the impact. The SKS logo is wonderful. Additionally, it would be interesting to see some proportional variety in the font sizes, styles and colors for "Sauer Kitchen Solutions" and the slogan. Perhaps browns, greens, blues...

With this one I tried to make the spark more lively and electric. I referred to your comment about colors of fonts so I changed it from the dark red to a blue and make the SKS to a brown. Plus I used a different font for the slogan. I am still open to any suggestion to change it.
Entry #5 is nice rymills. Thanks. Could you expand on the star? perhaps lengthening the rays into the SKS somewhat. Also could you adjust the size of the Sauer Kitchen Solutions smaller and extend the tagline beneath to line up exactly under the company name. I'd like to see how that looks. Also, we like the black classic nature of the first SKS monogram you proposed in #1. Could you move back to the black SKS and try the Sauer Kitchen Solutions in a brown or green? Thanks!
