We forgot a couple of important items.

1) Please include ".com" as part of the logo. We will remove it depending on how we use the logo, but it's important to have this as part of your design.

2) Include the slogan...again, we'll remove this depending on the situation.

Yet another comment...we include the word "hut" in our name...obviously try to incorporate a hut of some sort. Thanks!

One additional comment, please do not use a pepper as part of the logo. While we do sell hot and spicy sauces, we sell other sauces, rubs, marinades, and snacks that aren't spicy and do not want to protray that everything we sell is of the hot variety.

Really like the sun on 44. Could you try that on 45 in place of the oval?

I have made several changes. Take a look and let me know if I am going in the right direction. We need to think about the background. A Dark background can change the look dramatically. Are you planning on ranking the different designs soon. It will help everyone get a feeling of what you are trying to achieve.

Thanks

here is tip for the ranking system, that will be a positive spin on your contest. no designer should ever contact you to have all there design ranked in e top 4 posts..this is both unethical and not fair to all the other designer who have invested time into your contest.

This post was used on a different competition to highlight some rules of the LT (previously posted by Dazzle - Moderator for LT)

How are you doing ? hope you are doing great. As this contest is about to come to an end, and you will be choosing the best new logo for your company, i just wanted to have your attention to some important point that you might be aware of or might not. I hope i am not miss understood by pointing out this to you and that you understand.

When the contest ends and you have made your mind and decision about the winner logo, the winner gets the 1st place, but the 2nd and 3rd place and going on forward, 4th, 5th, 6th , etc , each one or slot should be filled with a separate designer and different concept you found second best, third best to follow etc.

This helps towards us designers ranking and also it is a way from you to show your appreciation to the hard effort and trails put from the beginning by one designer or appreciating a nice design concept put earlier by a designer that led to developing on right direction for others and you getting the best you could at the end.

It feels frustrating for other designers and pointless of giving all the top rankings for same winner designer, while those were just a small variations of the winning design and therefore the other places 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc are not filled with different designs from a different designer.

So i hope you understood my point i was just trying to point out to you here and all the best of luck in choosing your winner logo, there are really good ones out there.

please take a moment to rank your contest in fair and just manner..it will go along way when you decide to start another....simply because more designers will participate if they know a contest will be judged fairly.

Best Regards,

Magnita - No designer contacted us to have us rank their designs in the top four. The question was asked if we were going to rank our designs...there was no request of specific placement. The ranking of logos was based on whether our needs and expectations were met on each logo and what we expect to receive for our payment. As the paying customer, we reserve the right to rank our logos using this criteria. If a design is a close second, we're ranking it as close second while the contest is still active, regardless of whether it happens to be from the same designer or not. This is about our needs as the paying customer and shows the logos that we are most interested in. This isn't about fulfilling the emotional needs of you, me, or anyone else...it's about our needs as a business. Just as we have the right to choose the logos we like the most, you also have the right to put as little or as much work into our contest as you deem necessary.

We will gladly rank by designer once the contest is complete, but until that time, we need to rank them as we see fit. The expectation is that you or other designers will have an understanding of seems to be working for us. Ranking any other way would not paint an accurate picture. As there's still a day or so remaining, there's still plenty of time for change.

We appreciate everyone's efforts to date, but implying that something unethical was taking place couldn't be further from the truth.

I have uploaded the black background as requested (#77). I have also moved the "dot com" over to the right and moved the "Get Sauced" up. I just noticed that I have left of the "!" mark. I will make the correction.

Thanks and look forward to your feedback!
