We like the first five logos because they represent the nature aspect and appear youthful which our organization is trying to market, but our organization does more than just nature trips. The last three logos appear more formal, for example, logos for a mountain lodge which is not who we are or what we do. We need to appeal to a youthful crowd so brighter colors might help to achieve that but experimenting with darker colors too might help diversify our options. For example, in logo #1 using a variety of darker and lighter colors to experiment with how it turns out and using color variations in logos #2 and #3 would help give us a better idea of what is possible.

We also have a cultural element so we would like to see something that represents a human to human connection or depicts the cultural experience that our trip participants will have. The trips are designed to give participants the experience of the Latin culture in Nicaragua and to facilitate some type of exchange between locals and foreigners.
