Many thanks for entering the contest. The client did not provide any specific feedback on your entry and only gives me the top 10 ranking every day, but here is what I can venture to tell you:
- It looks like the client (I'm just a web designer, the real client is the person for whom I will eventually build the site) is having a preference for logos with a pictorial.
- Otherwise, the logo is nice, clean and simple, and there is a chance we might do without all the reflection and "web 2.0" effects many designers have used. You see a lot of that in the US, but as you know, logos in Europe tend to be more sober, like the one you did.
- It is hard to understand the company name, it looks like SM7, not SAM7
- We need the logo to somehow express what the client does, which is pretty hard to explain. Please check general board for general background info and direction I have given over the last few days.
