Hello, designers. Salt & Lime, as you may know, is a reference to Mexican beer and/or Margaritas, two alcoholic indulgences popular with people while visiting the beach towns of Texas on the Gulf of Mexico.

Our vacation home is a relaxing, well-appointed, special place for families to live during their Texas gulf coast vacations. The home is also trimmed in lime green and white - very beach - very coastal - tasteful & refined - soothing but lively.

We need a logo we can use on the home itself (a modestly sized sign) that conveys the relaxed, have a cold-drink lifestyle our home offers our rental guests.

Our guests are getting away from busy lives at work and schools and bringing only their bathing suits, flip flops, beach towels and coolers to enjoy a relaxing week on the beaches of Texas either drinking and sunning and or fishing and enjoying the coastal town of Port Aransas, Texas.

Their stay at our vacation rental home will be memorable. The logo should stick in their minds and hearts. We may even offer our guests logo-printed T-shirts to remember their vacation by. So it would be ideal if there is a minimum of colors (lower cost to print t-shirts) but an exciting, busy "surf shirt" type design.

The logo should convey well to an oval shape - commonly used for signs in beach towns for shops and restaurants and hospitality venues.

The logo should look good carved into an oval wooden sign.

Please work in an oval

Please include the text, Port Aransas, Texas to the bottom of the logo (still "in the oval")

I just posted the shade of lime green we plan to paint the accents on the house. Might be a good starting point for the main logo color.

I just uploaded a screenshot of the most famous versions of this type of logo. We don't need to match this (at all). But hopefully this will inspire your designs!

Need inspiration? Google image search "Beach Shop Logo" or "Surf Shop Logo" - a lot of great ideas out there to start the design with.
