Upon request we are obliged to provide additional files in black&white, transparent background, etc.. After choosing design you can always ask winner to provide other color versions and I think most of us will do it without any fuss.

It's also worth knowing that mandatory vector files enable you to edit logo in any direction (fonts, color, shapes, sizes) with the help of vector editors like Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.

Also, when I choose a final logo...am I able to get it in a couple of different colors? I'm not certain how the contest works. Thanks

I am putting a plank wall in the reception area. I guess it would probably be best to have the logo put on a sign and attach it to the plank wall. I will check out your bio...thanks.

Do you mean to chisel it in a flat wood board? I'm sculptor by profession (you can check the link on my profile page) and for doing this I would maybe simplify a bit compass and make other thin lines a bit bolder - but otherwise it would probably look very well.

Hi, I prepared revisions with more detail;ed and stronger pronounced compass - one of them with white background. Please let me know if you want some particular colors to use.

I will work on the compass. Due to time difference I expect to upload revisions in some 12 hours (It's close to 11 PM here).

I'm trying to imagine the logo on all different backgrounds....
I don't know that my sign will be black...
So maybe try black font with a grey compass or all bronze and gold

I uploaded requested revisions. Please let me know if you want the compass rose to be even more complex - I can add additional direction hands (though it can make design a bit too busy.

Thanks for your feedback. I added compass rose - in fact two of them, one more solid the other slender.

This is the best font so far. I still like the idea of a compass rose.

I like the gold and the fancier fonts. Any way to incorporate a compass rose?

I also was thinking about making W into a compass but after a couple of sketches came to conclusion that T might be more "handy".
