Thank you for your entries. We think you did a fantastic job making the dog look like a Doodle. My only complaint is the eyes look a little too dark... maybe too much eyeliner? and could be softened a bit. We like the fonts used in #20 and the overall layout on #19. We think the bow is going too femanine and the we are torn on the hat. We don't like the zebra on #21 as it looks too much like prison bars :) We like logos that are a little more on the sophisticated side as our clients are spending $1800 on a puppy so expect that we are more upscale, if that makes sense. Love the puppy, looks just like our Piper!

Hello,
and thank you for this great feedback. I changed eyes, kept overall concept, but tried to upscale it a bit, so it looks more sophisticated.
I would love to hear your thought, and wether this is the direction you would like me to take.
Best regards,
Bob.

Puppy looks perfect now. much softer eyes. Very cute! I also really like the puppy's paw up. My business partner loves #28 and thinks she may like this for a future boarding kennel she is opening. We don't think it is quite right for our Safari Doodles though... We aren't as fond of the font, maybe too bubbly. I think we like cleaner strokes. I'm not exactly sure where to go with it though because it is lacking some wow, I just am not sure what it is. It isn't as visually appealing/eye catching. I can't see us branding mugs/t-shirts/bags with it. I hope that helps.

new font...
I'm trying out other possibilities.
Thanks for all the feedback so far. It really helps.
Best regards,
Bob.

Ok, so we invited a ton of our clients to vote and so far they are all loving #28. Our concern is that this will be used on business cards as well as printed in black and white for some tote bags we are having printed. How would this translate into black and white? Would we need a different design to accomplish this?

Hello,
here is the option in black white version (puppy is gray, but I could also translate it into bw if needed-though it would loose its realistic look).
Please let me know if you would like to see any other version.
In the mean time I'm working on another concept and will finish it soon.
Best regards,
Bob.

Ok, we like #28 best and #27 second (except we do think it needs the hat). Here is our suggestion for possible improvement. We aren't thrilled with the font. We are thinking something like the logo font here: http://www.safarihelicopters.com/ for Safari and this: http://www.reddawngoldens.com/default.aspx for Doodles. Basically, something that has a little tribal, safari feel for Safari and something a little more feminine and scripty (or maybe playful if that works better) for Doodles. I don't know exactly how to describe what I'm thinking, but I'm also wondering if #28 can be placed inside of some kind of a shape or a frame so that it more easily can go onto a webpage without having to make sure the background color matches. I'm not sure if that made sense!

And concerning #37, I do think I will need something that is 100% black and white, but I suppose it doesn't necessarily have to be exactly the logo that we use on top of our website, I know many companies use multiple logos that relate to each other.

Here is one with the font you suggested.
I hope this is what you had in mind.

You have done a fantastic job! We love your ideas. There is some minor changes that need to happen, but all in all you blew the competition out of the water :)

Ok, we think we want to stick with #43. We like the font you used for Safari, but doodles is a bit hard to read. We weren't sure about the colors at first since this is such a change from the pink, but we really love it and can incorporate it in our new website. thanks!

Hello,
here are some options with different font for doodles.
I also included version with pink, so you can see how that would look like (is it enough "safari"?).
Let me know if this is more readable, or if you would like to see something different.
Best regards,
Bob.

Do you have the font Tempus Sans ITC? If not I can upload a picture. My husband really likes the font on #69 but it just doesn't seem quite right to me. We really like the green, the pink loses the Safari feel and is just more anemic looking. Thanks!

Here it is with Tempus Sans like you asked for.
I hope this is ok.

We've really been thinking about the font for Doodles and definitely think #73 is the most readable with a handwritten feel. While I'm not 100% sure it is the perfect font, it does seem to be the best choice (without making you do a million different versions!). The only thing that we wonder if it can be fixed is the font is much thinner than the others you used and it seems a bit too insignificant compared to the word Safari. Is this fixable or do we just stay with the way it is? Thanks!

Hi,
here is the version with thicker Doodles.
Let me know if this is ok with you.
Best regards,
Bob.
