Hi Mindy Before I start modifying my logo and give you more options, would you be able to give me a feedback? Should I proceed in the tree and spiral direction or move away from the tree and try something new?
I'm sorry that it's taken so long to get back to you - I needed a few hours to process.
I LOVE your work. Your colors are gorgeous and the artwork is beautiful. The thing I'm having a hard time with is that they are so elaborate - it would probably be really hard to stamp any part of the design onto a piece of jewelry. It would make a gorgeous business card, though.
Can you think of a way to convey the same beauty and sophistication without such elaborate swirling? What do you think?
Thanks, Mindy
PS - these are the colors that I'm most interested in using for their symbolic meanings:
Black - Bold, sophisticated, spiritual, mysterious, elegant Purple or midnight indigo- fantasy, mystery, spirituality, sophistication, expensive, feminine Silver - Vision, Clarity, strength, feminine Green - Growth, renewal, healing, life Orange - vibrant, playful, uninhibited, artistic Brown - Depth, Richness, Subtlety, Earth, Nature
I really love #136... this spiral is simple, elegant and mysterious. I've been thinking about it all day. I'd like to see it with the light blue/green in the center rather than the yellow. Maybe incorporate some of the light green for pop. This way it'll look more like it's spiraling out of the moon rather than the sun...
Also, the font is a little bit too much in the opposite direction - I'd still like it to be pretty and feminine - just not as swirly as your original fonts. If you could give me a couple of options that would be fantastic.
I love the current background color - but I'd also like to see it on white - just so I can get a sense of how it'll look if I print onto white business cards or tags...
#185 #186 #187 #188 #189 are the font options... #190 #191 #192 #193 are the color options... Let me know what type of font did you like so i may be able to give you similar options.
If you like any, we can do a combination of any two.
Once you let me know which color option did you like, I can create a white background for it. (instead of doing for all)
If I choose your logo, will you be able to do the following for me? 1. add the words "handcrafted treasures & talismans" beneath the words "Sacred Spiral" 2. give me each of the following images, on the dark and light background: *the spiral alone *the spiral on top of the words *the spiral to the left of the words * the spiral to the right of the words
Let me know if there is anything else that you include in the package of images
I'll be getting on a plane in an hour, and won't be available until tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to be on vacation, but I should be able to get online on Saturday afternoon or evening est.
I think we're really close to finalizing here. I'm very happy with the spiral design and the color choices. I'm not 100% on the font, but it's getting there. If you look at the contest rankings, #s 33 through 46 are my all time favorite fonts of the contest. I was hoping that you could take a look to get some inspiration. I don't want it as swirly as your first ideas, but they are in there as well.
I like the idea of a font that looks feminine, handwritten and still professional for the sacred spiral. For the "handcrafted..." , I think I want a boxier font, but I'd have to see it to be sure. I trust your judgement, so you should probably just play around with it and see what you can come up with. I'll be in touch.
Roochita, Thanks for your patience - I've been unable to use the computer. These look good! For the 'handcrafted treasures...', I'll go with #210, because it's more easily readable. For the 'sacred spiral', I like #s 102,212&213 best, but they are all too spirally on the 'S'. The S on 102 looks best, but without all of the frills coming off of it. Please let me know if you think you can make this happen.
Hi Mindy Welcome back! Hope you had fun on your vacation :) Yeah I can use the lettering of Sacred Spiral from #102 without the frills. And #210 for handcrafted...
Thank you so much for working so hard to create the logo for my business! You're a great designer and I'm really happy with the result!
I'm looking forward to receiving the final files. Below is what I am hoping to receive from you. Please let me know if there is anything else we need to discuss.
Each of the following images, on the dark background and the light background: *the winning design as is *the winning design without the words "handcrafted gemstone jewelry" *the spiral to the left of the words * the spiral to the right of the words *the spiral alone * the file that you mentioned, where I can make minor changes
