Your logo is well liked by my colleagues. However, the eagle still needs to be worked on. It needs to look like the Serbian eagle.
Please change the text to SERBIA 2018 and look at the font used by PM Logos (I assume you can see the other designs?) It looks quite Russian, which is what we want.

Hi there, we're in the finalists phase now. Could you work on the eagle please. The watermark effect is good but it should be much bigger, to cover the greater space of the disk interior, so maybe only head and shoulders, with the top half of the shield?

Hello, I've taken some feedback and the view is that the eagle itself needs to be bigger and a different design, more closely representative of the Serbian eagle, yet modern.

Thanks for this. I like the return of the swooshes, but could you lower the red swoosh and make the height the same as the end of the blue one? Also, as we are working with a small space, could you drop the eagle down, so only half of it is showing, maybe? We don't need to show the whole thing. I'm trying to increase its size within the oval shape.
Someone here also recommended including the eagle and shield using a watermark feature, so its feint.
I like the font you have used, it does look more Cyrillic.

Just to return to the eagle comment: what makes it Serbian is a white, double-headed eagle with the red shield with the white cross, so as long as those details are present it suggests its Serbia. We don't need an exact replica of the eagle on their flag. Cheers.

That is fantastic. You did a design previously that had the red-blue swoosh thinner on the left and fatter on the right, following the country of the ball shape. Can you replicate that with this?
Also, could you try a stylized version of the eagle, making it simpler and retaining the shield on its chest? Your design is excellent but I'm just thinking with that level of detail within the shape it might be a bit lost? A stylized, more modern eagle with the same traditional shield might be good? Can you change the wording to SERBIA 2018? A great design...

Hi again. If the wording SERBIA 2018 can't be written to either look like Cyrillic (while not using Cyrillic characters) or take the pattern you've included underneath, I'd remove the folk pattern from the bottom as it's too busy and detracts from the good design above it.
Is there any way you could include the double-headed white eagle as the Serbians agree that's the most recognisable Serbian feature. Rather than contain it within the disk shape could it be superimposed on top of it, or included subtly elsewhere? I really like the basic design but the red cross with white patterns, while definitely Serbian, isn't as recognisably Serbian as the double headed white eagle.

Hello there. Thanks for the new design. Can you make the writing SERBIA 2018 as that's been requested by the Serbs. My comment about the font was not to write it in Cyrillic but to write it in Latin characters but with a Cyrillic style. Is it possible to write SERBIA 2018 using the folk design as the letters?
Can you lessen the emphasis on UNDER-19 too, please? Feel free to use U19 if that helps the integrity of your design. Thanks a lot.

ill lok at some crylic fonts .
In regards to doing cryllic fonts illustrator doesnt support it. Its the program we all use
Maybe by changing my program language it might work but im cautious in doing so .

Marc, this is really good, thanks. Same comment I made on the other one about the text. I spoke to my Serbian colleagues and they said the double headed eagle with crown would be instantly recognisable as Serbia. Also, they have a national design for textile, fabric and carpets etc. I was thinking, maybe we could work this folk cloth design into the name SRBIJA 2018?

Marc, first comment is we need to change the writing from 'Belgrade' to SRBIJA 2018. Concerning the font, I'd like to retain similar font to our logo, but for the SRBIJA 2018 part we can be a bit more creative. Is there a particular type of way that you can write it and give the impression it's Cyrillic characters? Note how Emirates writes their text, the Latin characters are in the style of Arabic script.
I prefer the stars being at a 3D angle, so bigger to the front, slightly smaller at the back, and at an angle to give the impression the ring of stars is at an angle.
The red swirl in this logo seems contrary to the general direction of the rest of the logo. The direction and shape of the red lines in the other one are better in this respect.

Ok according to my mate thats Serbian, this symbol is the most appropriate to Serbs .
Also did some web reading and it also come sup as most recognizable

Hi Marc, so winning this competition should mean even more to you as you'll be directly impacting RL internationally!
I had an idea: the Serbian flag has a double-headed eagle, a crown and a cross on it. I think an exact copy of that in the ball, on top of the red, blue and white swooshes, will be too busy, but maybe a simpler, stylised interpretation of one or a combination of those three things might work. That way, the design will retain our original logo while being recognisably Serbian.

Hi there, thanks for the logo. It's very attractive indeed. My initial comment is, if we removed 'Belgrade 2018' how would the logo give the impression it's Serbian? Is it possible to investigate some Serbian cultural iconography and try to work it in somehow? A good start though.
