Just the one for SERBIA 2018. As the font we have currently used in your winning logo actually says SEYABID when you read the word in Cyrillic, we feel it will be ridiculed in Serbia and the Russian-speaking world, so it's best to write the word SERBIA 2018 in English. The font you have for RUGBY LEAGUE U19 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP is fine, please leave it. Once you have changed that SERBIA 2018 font for both vertical and horizontal logos please upload them, then we can approve them as the final designs. Thanks Marco.

Could you also put U19 on the same line as EUROPEAN. That would make the two lines more proportionate.

My only comment is, could you make the SERBIA text slightly bigger, proportionate to the above text (same with the version with the text to the right of the design)?

Very good Marco. One of the Serbian federation directors has asked if the colours in the ring can follow the order of the colours in the Serbian flag, so red above blue. As the blue colour is better as the dominant one, maybe swap the gold and red swooshes? Also, change the red text at the top to blue, please.
I really like the font. In Cyrillic that actually reads SEYABID! But who cares, it looks like SERBIA to an English-speaking audience.

I can assure you that PM logos was using variations of the eagle with the ball shape during the blind phase. I recommended he use a depiction of the eagle closer in design to the Serbian flag's.

...in the banner and just have it as bold text. It's clear that way.
Also, having the wording over your great design detracts from it. I think we should leave the design separate to the writing.

As per other comment, let's forget about the SERBIA 2018

Thanks Marco, it looks really good. I think we will definitely include SERBIA 2018 just as a word, not in a banner, as it's cleaner, and if we use a Russian-looking font it adds something to the cultural message the logo is making.

In these last 2 drawings I have created a more prominent eagle, with better lines to make the eagle emerge more even from a distance.
Then I removed the banner and I used a font from Eastern Europe, for the word SERBIA. I can not use the same font used by PM LOGOS for the word "SERBIA 2018".

Hello! I have uploaded a new proposal, in this design I used the font you requested, through a copy of the image attached to you and for the missing parts, I hand drawn the font, but this may not be the solution, so there are 2 ways:
1 - ask PM LOGOS for the font used;
2 - become aware in some way of the name of your font.

I created a survey and your logo is the preferred one so far. We need to make the eagle more distinctive so it's not lost in the disk design from afar.

Hello Marco, so we are in the finalists phase now. Please see the font used by PM Logos. It's preferable to the tapestry style I asked you to use, as it's simpler, bolder and really says 'Serbia'.
Can you work on a way of ensuring the eagle doesn't lose clarity when viewed from a distance?

The eagle definitely needs to be white otherwise the Serbian federation will go nuts!

Looking good Marco. You'll definitely be in the final stage anyway so we can refine it then. I think the eagle needs to be enlarged a bit so it has greater prominence.

Another minor point, Marco. Can you make sure the redrawn eagle's heads are the same shape as on the Serbian white eagle. The body, you can get more creative with and draw a more modern, dynamic design, as you have done, but the heads need to be almost a facsimile.

Could you also try fractionally increasing the size of the eagle in relation to the surrounding disk? It's looking really good.

I really like it Marco. The redesigned eagle really helps. However, the two blues merge into one. Can you try the eagle with a black outline so the body is white. Remember, the Serbian eagle is a white eagle, so it needs to represent that Serbian emblem.

This is an enlargement to allow you to better see the eagle.

Marco, I've taken some feedback. The general impression is positive but there's a view that the logo is too 'busy', probably because of the detail in the eagle. Can you try to include a stylized, modern, dynamic version of the two -headed eagle without all the wing / feather detail?

The red swoosh is fantastic. Can you work on a stylised, more modern double headed eagle while not altering the shield at all? This would be a good juxtaposition. It's really good now! Exciting!

Actually, I don't know the font name, I'm afraid, as a designer did it. It doesn't matter, the winning designer will have days to find a similar font that we agree with.
I really like this design as you've managed to enlarge the logo. Can you increase the size of SERBIA 2018 as that will also increase the visibility of the folk pattern on the banner.

I think it's fantastic, Marco, but I also really like your recent design, with the Serbian eagle contained within the ball shape. Can you also work on that but give the ball shape greater prominence? Both are excellent!

You can also reposition the writing if that gives you the chance to give greater prominence to the actual design element. Maybe go above and below the logo?

I really like this one, Marco. The folk pattern is much better as SERBIA 2018 is more striking. Great work. I'm just thinking how we can give greater prominence to the eagle. Remember, the basic design should be recognisable as linked to our logo but it doesn't necessarily need to retain its exact shape. So, this gives you scope to think about how you work the eagle and flag motifs into the overall design. Also, please pick a font closer to our font in our logo I posted in the job description.

I'm also thinking, what about an effect where the stars and the shape of the ball remain, but then we have a Serbian eagle going north to south, surrounded by the stars and the ball disc (like the rings of Saturn). What do you think?

Marco, this is really excellent. Really excellent. The pattern in the banner is very Serbian but it lacks definition at the end. To counter this, maybe just make it a rectangle, without the folded sections? Can you pick a font colour for SERBIA 2018 that makes it stand out more? Also, please try to replicate the font in our design for RL U19 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP section while using whatever font you wish for SERBIA 2018.

Marco, please change SRBIJA to SERBIA. Also, please try to make the font size for EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP the same.
The design on the left is really attractive but as the eagle is commonly used by a lot of organisations and entities we need to nail the Serbian two-headed white eagle. That's the key element I would suggest you work on. Overall, it's looking more Serbian and more attractive. The Serbs use a very distinctive folk pattern for their textiles and carpets. If possible, could it be represented in the banner you have at the bottom? That might be a nice touch but could be quite complicated. I'm not sure.

Helloo Marco, the revised logo is very good indeed. Can you change the writing to SERBIA 2018 not SRBIJA. The Serbian federation asked for this. You have retained the integrity of our original logo well. My main comment is that the Serbian white eagle is double headed and very distinctive. Perhaps look at the details in the eagle, cross and pattern on the Serbian national flag and see how you can incorporate them into your design. At the moment, we have the Serbian colours and an eagle, but the downside is that many countries use those colours so we really need to be creative about identifying the image with Serbia.
I like the way you have incorporated the flag colours into the text. Maybe, to ensure red>blue>white, the Under-19 could change to U19 and be placed on the same line? Maybe not, just something to consider.
It's getting there, but the main brief is to ensure that, at a glance, the logo says 'Serbia'. The Serbians also use distinctive folk patterns on their carpets and clothing so maybe that could be factored in or considered. Again, not necessarily, but it's just another culturally significant Serbian association. Great job so far!

Marco, I like the star and the inclusion of the Serbian flag. They're a nice feature that we should work on. I would like to avoid a badge shape as that's used by many clubs but this is a European Championship. As per my comments on the other logo, try to include a link between your design and our original logo. The championship logo should be a stylized version of our logo - unmistakably RLEF and unmistakably Serbian!

Hi Marco, thanks for your designs. They're very attractive. For this one, my main comment is that it should retain more reference to our logo that I posted. In some way it should link to that logo so someone will see it and recognise it as in some way identifiable to our logo. So, for example, the European stars would preferably feature. In addition to the red, while and blue, which is clearly Serbian so a plus, can you think of a way to incorporate any Serbian iconography, stylised in some way, so that if we remove the word Belgrade we know it's Serbian?
