Really like your style and shading! Don't care for #7's colors. Would prefer "Group inc to somehow be incorporated into the Rue logo so "Innovative Landscape Architecture" could stand alone under the Rue logo. Keep working with the green tones or venture into blues, blue/green combo?? I really like your sense of flow. Also focus on our existing logo and draw from that inspiration. Thanks.
You have come the closest thus far to our existing logo's look. Thank you for helping us see how our existing logo could be updated and refreshed in your way. Could you use #5's coloring or something in the greens, or another color if you are drawn to something else, so we can see how that effects #28 and #29. Thank you!
I am still drawn to your design as you can see from the rankings. My main hestitation at this point is the overall readability of "RUE" as I do not want to end up with a logo again that people can't tell it's RUE. I worry that the "tail of the R and how it hits the E may lessen the readibilty unlike some of the other logos we are considering that clearly, without a doubt, read RUE. Is there anything you can do to improve the readibility of your design without losing the flow of your design?
I am also curious about the color. You did a great job of bringing into this new logo a color similiar to what we have always had but we can't help but notice how most of the submissions tend to be more in a brite yellow to medium green. Can you show us something similiar to the majority of the color schemes being used just so we can see how those brighter, lighter colors would effect your design? Thank you!
Crowded tagline is a serious allegation so I tried to fight it by changing fonts and layout. By the way - I think that still this logo looks best standing alone without "group" and tag line. As for the readability factor - being a sculptor I fought about this issue many times and came to funny conclusion that we actually enjoy overcoming (small) obstacles when recognizing shape or massage. This way we can subconsciously feel we are smart and we also lend this virtue to the creator. In one word - we are vain as hell even when watching things. But anyway I shortened tail of the "R" in a couple of versions.
Thank you for all of your efforts and explanations. We really like how #56 and #57 worked out to read clearer with pulling the "R" back off the "E" a bit. Is there anyway #57's "INC" can read better. The "I" is barely noticable? Really like #56 but the "INC" is missing and we have to include that for legal reasons.
Sorry, it wasn't my intention to drop "INC." - just stupid mistake. As for the poor visibility of the letter "I" - this is the Acens font and they really made this letter too narrow so I had to correct this.
Thank you for the changes and comments. As an artist............do you see/feel the logo you have created for us is most effective in the color you have shown or did you only pick that color to reflect the logo we have had for so many years? If you want to show us another color, that is fine for us to see at this point in the competition.
There are no bad colors. Colors carry messages and emotions. The reason I choose this particular shade of green was that though it is still green it also goes beyond that. It tells we are more than gardeners. I like you previous logo because it is hard to describe what it actually is. Sadly, texture isn't solid enough to attract most people. If your job is more obvious than that you should go for nice greens. As for thy other colors - many would do - I'm not color fanatic. Why not even browns when your office have, say, a sandstone facing. Black is always good choice when it comes to creativity because it leaves space for thinking and interpretation. Anyway, we can provide here more than one color scheme with final files. Finally - don't listen to me but you clients and take your time when choosing the right logo. Revisions are possible also after the deadline.
