Classy, small hotel and bar in the french quarter area of New Orleans

Color Preferences
Gold gradient logos are pretty, but we need the printed version to be flat, especially the words. They want to see the name of the hotel clearly.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
RF in a circle up top dressed up with curlies and wrought iron etc. and maybe a crown on top if you can make it work
Also, a stylized classy royal font for the 'RF ' letters would be ideal.
