Rotary Club Of WestervilleLogo Design Contest

Logo Design Contest
Contests / Rotary Club Of Westerville

Rotary Club Of Westerville has selected their winning logo design.

For $375 they received 83 designs from 5 different designers from around the world.

Logo Design Brief

Client
Slogan
Service above self (does not need to be in logo)
What We Do
Mission:
To honor, celebrate and recognize those individuals those have provided the ultimate “Service Above Self” commitment by serving and giving of themselves to our country.

Goal:
Establish an annual fundraiser to support the Rotary Club of Westerville and a Veteran’s organization. A portion of the net proceeds will be shared with an annually alternating Veteran’s organization (e.g. Honor Flight, VFW, Wounded Warriors, Disabled American Vets)

Theme:
Rotary’s 5K Walk/Run for Veterans will be an annual event to be held the weekend prior to Veteran’s Day. The event will be designed to recognize and honor groups or individuals that have demonstrated “Service Above Self.” The event will have a festive atmosphere with U.S Flags lining the start/finish line. We will secure a musical band to play patriotic songs at the start/finish. We will work with a Veteran’s organization to provide an Honor Guard or Color Guard at the start.
Industry
Non-Profit
Color Preferences
red white and blue... but would need to work in a two color format as well.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We like many of the designs done for Veterans' Dream Foundation including eik#60, Businessbuilder#29, stickie #38, and bikinsendiri#17

We are also part of Rotary International and we may want to incorporater their logo into the design. We would like to have the logo with and with out. This is optional and we are not sure we will want it.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

#1 I like the simplicity of your design. We would like to see a version that shows "Rotary Honors Veterans" with 5k worked into it.

#2, #3, #4....I like the idea of having a weathered look as well as the clean look. It seems you put thought in keeping production costs down which we appreciate. I would like to see a version that highlights "Rotary Honors Veterans" more then the Rotary club of Westerville. We may circle back to "Rotary Club" as the focus.

There is more then one person looking at these designs so there may be more comments to come on all of
them.
