Here is my first entry for your review. I wanted to create a full emblem that would provide enough versatility to be used on everything from large wooden signage to smaller emblems on apparel, uniforms, ads, etc.

Entry #2 - I like the idea. The background, even though western, is too much desert. Our resort is located in a mountainous region. I would prefer a mountain range type of background. Thanks for your entry.

Thank you for the feedback. I will work on some more appropriate backgrounds and submit some new ideas soon.

Thank you for the detailed feedback; it is much appreciated. I took the idea you had, and I created a new logo for you to look at. Let me know if this is more like the aesthetic you are aiming for.

Thanks!

Entry #4 - This is the direction I was looking to go in. I would still like more of a mountainous feel; possibly change the cactus to a pine tree and make a portion in front of the mountain green or some way to make the area in front of the mountain not to look like a wide, open desert. I realize the cactus depicts the west, however we don't want customers thinking we are located in the desert. Also, I would like the ATV picture of a 4-wheeler instead of a 3-wheeler. Thanks for working with the feedback.

Here is the same logo, with a textured effect to make it seem more rustic & rugged. I will rework the ATV and the scenery for you and submit some new work again soon!

Thanks for the additional feedback. I am still redrawing the ATV, but I wanted to post this for you for now, to see if you have any additional comments as I work on it.

I am liking the results, wondering what it would look like with the rose ranch words coming out of the circle like in #1 and #2. Also try making the color of those same words a little more orange. One more thought is to put the where the west meets wild on the outside of the circle like on #2. Thanks

I like your suggestions a lot. I will definitely rework the placement and scale relations tonight. I have the new ATV almost ready, so I can plug it in and color it tonight when I get home.

Talk with you again this evening.
Have a good day.

Here is an alternate layout of your place being the meeting point between the two.

Here is an all encompassing logo, where the land goes from west to wild as well as the vehicles.

I like #29, I wonder how it would look if the atv was a differant color...maybe red or something.

Thanks for trying the red.On # 32 I like the blue background. Would you try one with the atv back to the original brown color leaving "Resort" red

I added a version with a border, just in case you wanted to see how it might look on a sign in this shape...

#23, could you take the front mirror thing of off the atv and try to make the color of "rose Ranch" stand out a little more; not to bright though. Do you think there is another place that "where the west meets wild" could go and still look good?

Sure thing. I will work on those as my first priority when I get to my studio tonight.
Thank you for working back and forth with me to get this how you want it.

Here are some new versions for you to look at. I tried placing the slogan in a couple of different spots, as well as show you how it would look without the slogan included. Let me know if you would like any other changes made.

Thanks.

Here is how it would look, if you were to drop the ATV for an alternate logo. This version would work great at smaller scales, or as just an alternate option.

Thanks for doing #59, I like the option. If you could do #23 with all the wording and color just how it is but with the updated atv (no front head light) that would be great. it really helps to see different color options. Thanks for all your work.

No problem. Here is #23, but with the revised ATV in it...

Also, just a reminder to you: changes can still be made by the top designer once the contest enters judging mode. So, if we need to tweak anything further, we still can without it having to be in the next couple of hours.

Thanks.

Before I select the winner, will you please make a version of #62 without the 4-wheeler and with "where the west meets wild" under Rose Ranch? Thanks.
