Hi Montoshlall, just want to let you know that my family and I have decided to go w/ a design from another designer. Your design got very great remarks from most people I surveyed. A couple of people were confused by it, but my family and I loved it. Ultimately, we felt that the versions I ranked 1-4 were closest to what would work best for us long term. I can't thank you enough for submitting this design--I loved it from the day you submitted it and I hope to have an occasion to use it one day. One other thing I'd love to see as a possibility is a carrot or radish (or another vegetable if you think a different one would be better) in place of the fork, but still maintaining a version of the "R" in the logo. Let me know what you think.

Not trying to rush you at all and sincerely hope you're doing well. I know I obviously left the scene on my own contest for a few weeks due to some unforeseen circumstances, so apologies to you and the others for my long absence... Just trying to reach out one more time. There's only about 3-4 days left in the blind phase for this contest and I have you as our top ranked logo at present. I really hope that you'll be both willing and able to move into the finals with us, but I would really appreciate a head's up if you can't for any reason, or if you might have chosen to move on from my contest at this point. I would hate to lose your talent and inspiration in our contest, but if you can't continue for any reason, I'll be disappointed, clearly, but will understand too.
I just need to make sure I have 5 designers who are committed to moving forward before I hit the finals phase. If you could let me know over the next day or so, I'd be grateful.
If you do plan to stay in this contest, my only request would be update it to Rick's. Obviously, if the name change inspires you to submit any others, we'd be thrilled to see those too, but the one you've already submitted remains our top choice at this point.

Hi Montoshlall--love the creativity here. If I were doing a cafe rather than a wholesale food products company, this would be one of my very top choices. You've got great talent and I'm delighted that you submitted some designs--thanks so much. I love the clean, modern feel of this. It's not right for what we're looking for for Roots as a products co at this point but I'm hoping that you might be willing to take another stab with a little feedback, as you've inspired me even though it's not what we're looking for for the current brand image. If I do open a cafe at some point with many of our foods, I may be back to you on this one!
For Roots Real Foods (now Real instead of Fine), my personal sense is to play more off of a connection between people and their food source, so rather than having a fork dominate as eating, I want to focus on the planting, growing, farming, and cooking techniques that are so important to what we do. The millenium old techniques we use to prepare the foods--to increase bioavailability of nutrients and make them more digestible, therefore healthier--is one of the most important attributes of our brand. If you're willing, I'd really love to see what other inspirations you might have, as your designs really speak to me. Thanks again for your participation and consideration. Love the color choices and fonts and overall simplicity of the designs.
