What We Do
demographic is primarily women, ages 20-70, health enthusiasts, natural and holistic beliefs, and folks who want to learn preservation and self-sufficiency. We also market to men who are looking for ready-made freeze-dried meals for hunting, fishing and camping.

Root and Rise Food and Wellness is an entrepreneurial partnership that focuses on holistic health, wellness, and nourishment through a variety of services and products. They offer services such as Reiki, natural health practices, yoga, and food preservation and cooking workshops. Additionally, they provide an array of products including freeze-dried foods and meals, herbs, sourdough, salves, beauty products, remedies, fermented, and dehydrated foods and products.

we are not afraid of colours. We love colourful, joyful, vibrancy and are not interested solely in earthy tones (though we are open to ideas).

Color Preferences
vibrancy: think carrots, beets, flowers, summer and fall.... yellows, oranges, blues, and greens (but not primary colours... that might be too child-like).

We would like to avoid the female silouhette or shape, as it might appear that we ONLY serve women.

please don't limit yourself to earthy tones (though we are open to ideas).

We want to avoid the female body in these logos. We don’t want to get the impression we only serve woman as clients. We also make ready-made freeze-dried meals for men when they camp, hunt or fish.

Also, we love the images with a root vegetable, but if there are too many as the logo, it might lead people to think that our sole focus is on food. We encompass many aspect of wellness.

We didn’t realize that once we place in the “no thanks” column that designers would withdraw them. We are asking that for the blind phase, could designers please keep them in the contest —— so we have time to see them all and move logos around.
