Hi. Thanks a lot for posting your designs. I dont really like such curly fonts. For me this looks a little old fashion. I'm looking for more modern and dynamic fonts / logos. What I like in your design that you bring in some color. Best regards, Roman
Hi. The new style is much more what I'm looking for. What I'm not so happy with is the camera symbol. I would much more like an aperture / lense symbol. I still like how you bring color in.
#84 looks great! I would be interested why you introduced the hand and the heart in the symbol. I relate the heart to the character of a person that I like to visualize within my portraits, so it fits really well. But for the hand I dont see an abvious relation, so please explain. Another symbol one could use (probably instead of the heart) is an eye. This is for two reasons: One, again you can see the soul / character of a person best within their eyes. Two, a potographer needs a good eye so that nice pictures results.
I would like to keep you under the top 5 so that you can continue working on this.
hand to indicate personalized touch (fine arts) and heart to indicate something close /family/ or love (portraits)...usually eye is used by most and sometimes people mistake it for optician thing not ridiculing anyone ...i just thought why not show something different .
another reason is generally people get portraits done to keep memories alive of character in the picture which means that character is very imp to the person and had a strong hold /impression in the person's life the hand is it indicate this hold ,the bond, those personalized memories. :)
Thanks for the explanations of your concept that I now fully understand. The bond you mentioned is an important factor, I totally agree. Nevertheless I would like to see an "eye version". Or if you have another idea how to visualize this bond feel free to do so. Regarding the lense design: I like #84 best (and also #85). The other ones with two rings (e.g. #88 or #92) look overfilled to me. Regarding the color concept: I like #84 best (also by the camera design I liked #48 best). It is difficult for me to tell you why this is. This color arrangment is the most harmonic to me. So I trully wonder how #84 looks on a white background. Best regards, Roman
Hi. Sorry I didn't express myself clear enough. I would like to keep the lense symbol (as by 105) and only change the hand symbol to something else to illustrate "the bond" or through an eye. That is way I but your new designs to the non interesting box (regarding the new sorting strategy, please see my comment in the general section.) Thanks for #105 with white background. It helps me a lot to see both versions.
i uploaded the designs with the eye instead of hand...have a look and let me know what you think meanwhile i'll think of some other symbol to represent the bond :)
Many thanks for uploading some designs with an eye. Unfortunatly I'm not convinced about it. The hand is somehow straightforward to regonize, the eye needs a second look. Also matches the hand better in the circle in my opinion. So my eye idea was a little bit misleading, I better wait for the next design idea from you.
ok i uploaded another style in #141,#142#143 and #144 i put 2 swans with their heads touching showing love/affection between them where the swans represent the people ...what do u think of it?
You seem to be a very creativ person with lot of ideas, compliment. Funny thing that I looked at your designs before reading the explanation. What I have seen is a heart that is melting and thereby combining the two worlds red and black. In photographie there exist always a relation between portraied person and the photographer as well as between the photography and the beholder. Both relationships I have seen in your logo. Of them all I like #144 best. Do you think an outer ring as by #84 is suitable for this? How does it look on white background? #139 and #140 I still dont like. #147 I think we had before (#85) Best regards, Roman
thanx for the compliment:) the outer ring like #84 won't work for #144 as in #144 we are trying to show a the wholeness/completeness of the bond the love of the swans/people while the shape of the circle is also like lens to show photography.
As you may notice by looking at the designs rankend in front of you, are you following a different path. My first idea just was to have an apperture symbol that looks cool (see e.g. #56). But then you posted with the "hand and the heart logo" a design that has a depper meaning, that shows some essentials of my business. With regards of the contents I like your logo best. With regards of the design I like #56, #149 and #131 best. Difficult decision. You did very well implemented the feedbacks I gave you. And with the two swans / melting heart we have reached a top end of your path (I believe). Best regards, Roman
