We've used gold in past. I like the luxury that it conveys but not essential to use it.

http://www.calicocorners.com/ - I like the simplicity of just their name without a tagline or image. I dislike the font and lower case letters.

Although I like that they just use their initials, I feel like they can execute that well because they have tons of brand recognition. I don't have tons of brand recognition and need to fully spell out my name. I like the font and capital letters.

https://www.theshadestore.com/ - Great font and colors. I like that they vertically stack the 3 words. I like that the E kind of looks like a blind.
