Our Ideas & Additional Information
The concept is from a scene in a movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHLR3faI7lU
Here are some logos I like and why.
1. http://www.directtoearth.com/ -DTE's is cool. It fits their theme.
2. http://www.ayli-sf.com/ - AYLI is ok. It's nice and simple and easy to read on a small flyer.
3. https://www.facebook.com/MonarchSanFrancisco - I like Monarch a lot. Very simple and recognizable.
4. https://www.facebook.com/sunsetsoundsystem - The Sunset profile pic on FB is very cool. Their cover photo is I don't really like but it's not a logo. I just wanted to clarify which one I'm referring to.
I love Robot heart but we definitely don't want to appear that we are copying them. So it's crucial ours look nothing like theirs. Robot Heart does much lighter Deep House type parties almost exclusively at Burning Man. Here's the page that has their official logo.

Ideally listen to a few minutes of a Robot Heart set on Soundcloud. Then listen to a few minutes of this link. That will make it very clear how we are different musically which may help. Here's a set that typifies what we play.

Another idea that I have is that since we have Funktion One speakers that you could somehow incorporate that in the logo design. The look of F1 is recognizable. http://www.funktion-one.com/products/resolution-3/
On some of the style sliders I picked as best as I could but don't read too much in to it. Hopefully understanding that we do late night 5am warehouse type parties makes it clear enough the vibe we are trying to portray.
