Outstanding entries! they both have great potential.
# 154 is my style yet the people look like aliens. # 153 is the other partners style yet he thinks the globe is used up...is there another sphere or shape you can lay them in?
#154 is our favorite concept. remove the gradients from the people. if you can change the people. the font needs work...we love the 1st place text and placement of the name. you entry #153 has a better lay out of the name & font.
maybe justify the tag line to fit under the name. your concept is great corporate appeal yet global logo. as you can see in # 1 entry we like the crisp clean look of the NAME.
Hello, I'm RMS24's partner. I very much like #154 but have some ideas of my own on how I'd like to see it. I know my partner likes the current 1st place logo because it has a simple, corporate look. I think it's too simple thus the reason my number one choice is your #154. I think we could make some changes that would make it work for both of us. 1. Make both arms at the people's sides instead of one arm grabbing another persons head? I think that would get rid of my partner's "alien" issue. 2. Make the text more like the 1st place entry (simpler, darker gray, justify slogan so it lines up with "RMSimple" at both ends. 3. Get rid of the gradients that are towards the people heads, so the icon is a little "flatter", but not too flat like the 1st place entry. 4. Change the orange person to match the darker gray you would put in the text in number 1 above.
You're the designer, so I don't mean to tell you how to do it too much, I just think that with these changes my partner and I might be able to agree on your logo! Thanks. :)
Thanks for your interest. I think you're doing a great job in giving feedback and direction, thats something I like, so feel free to give me max input. I think now I have a clear understanding of the direction. We're looking for somthing with slighly flat colors yet modern looking. I will come up with some rivisions based on the input you both gave later tonight...feel free to fill in anything you missed.
Nice, very nice...wes will love it......I'm having a hard time with the company slogan The Original CRM stand for "Client Relationship Management" RMS stands for "Relationship Management System" the original name was "Realtime Management Systems" it evolved or is trying to evolve to Relationship management made simple" rms......it just reads like a dating site.....any sugestions?
I dont think it would sound like a dating site for a few reasons. First there are well known designations for relationship managers in different companies. It does not sound like a guy who hooks up people :). Secondly you have used two totally corporate and hightech words like "Managements" which immidiately gives an impression of seriousness...and then "Systems" is again a techy terminology that non of the dating sites ever used. Just my thoughts!
first ideas sometimes work that way....i would love to see what else can be done with the concept of #228. (228 181 183 all lay out well and seem to be versatile ) I'm still in limbo..... #183 well work in all media,marketing.. inner office paper work , reception wall, Corporate office entry way......Etc Etc.
#228 has alot of potential...works well in B&W as well,, But in my openion these kind of designs go slightly overboard with the fun aspect to it. They are more of an MSN messenger theme..every design #193 captures the same MSN messenger theme. BTW the designer of design #193 thinks that my design thinks his design and mine are similar. I have already told him that my design dates back to last year and if he thinks both designs are similar then HE should should remove his. Anyways..regarding design #183... I have always liked that one the best from day one...it has the fun feel but not too much on the face...it captures the fun and corporate feel in a very balanced way. The possibilities of usage are soooo many. You can use different colors for different campaigns offers moods or seasons. It works seamless on B&W this printing would have no issues at all...it will go well on stationaries, cups, t-shirts and even small objects like pens. Or blow it up to put it at office entrances.. Unfortunately logotournament allows only 1 design for presentation... If I had a chance I would love to show you the usage of this logo to the max. I do not wish to sell by talk.,..coz I think the visuall should do the talking...so believe what you see :) Feel free to let me know if you need anything else.
Final rankings = During the judging period? we are going to move all variations of the entries and current not interested entries into the not interested section. we are going to move all entries except the top 30-40 concepts.
we will then move all entries back to the ranking table. during the final rankings.
This will give all designer a clearer direction to focus the entries and make it easier for us to rank the top 10.
thanks for all your entries. we will work hard to make the point system benefit your hard work.
the point system should be emailed or displayed to all Contest Holder upon entry. ( This would help a lot for both parties )
#183 still sit the best and has with stood all entries...we like the new concepts but #183 still is strong.
#228 seems to have caught on. you may want to put them in there place with a new entry...we like the business look on the people.....ties ...suits etc etc.
Here's my 2 cents. What you have mostly in your project are MSN based icons which are extremely common. I think your brand should be more inclined towards uniqeness ...not common msn icons. Hope you like this one.
lol... there are plenty of bad boys :)....its just that there is meager time. Just and FYI...Color changes can be done later aswell. e.g if you want the guy at the back to be orange or blue or vice versa...that can easily be done.
