#10.. definitely the most "out of box" - makes it high up the list because it is this creativity i am looking for.
it isn't clear what the rose has to do and the textual part of the logo would need some work. it is good that you got the notion of "riot" (protest; fight for rights).. just need to integrate it correctly - some of the other logo's posted have done this a little better.
looking forward to some revisions and seeing what you can do.
the USB cable on #42 is great - just wondering if there could be possibilities around ethernet/cat5; one of the more prominent in IoT these days is around wireless; such as bluetooth/zigbee/2.4Ghz.. USB is well known however - #42 is much cleaner than #44; not a fan of "block backgrounds"..
i have started to like the notion of R and IoT in different colors; and the INTERNATIONAL in all caps - right now; your designs are the only ones capturing the concept of "riot" (protest/radical...) - a few variations of the cable concept could be interesting; i would also like to see how you could work with RIoT and INTERNATIONAL words separately; the international portion isn't as important (ie: could be smaller, under neath and grey)..
entry #43 is a little too complicated for initial impact..
the font does look a little thin however with the RIoT text.. the INTERNATIONAL text is fine; maybe just a simple bold toggle and it would look a little better.. definitely do not want to go sans serif :P but, it should have an impact.
#51 is looking great - doesn't seem to be much competition out there for this one :)
from what i've seen; i'm at the point where i am ready to close this competition.. what format would you be delivering the final files in? in design? i assume they are vectorised as well. what other variations could you make with the fist? #45 has the USB, #47 has two CAT5 and #51 has the mixture.. just wondering what else we could do with ti.
vector based EPS i assume - so i will not have a problem scaling them. i haven't decided on the final color schemes; but as long as i could be flexible with them; i can consider this contest pretty much over.. you've done well to get 17th rank - i can see why.
