The idea behind my concept is a thumbprint with a ringing wave surrounding it. This gives both the ideas of Ring and DNA, while combining colors to match them to the respective parts of the logo.

liking the fingerprint concept. the design could use a bit more weight if possible - perhaps different color palette.
