#4 and 5 i like where you're going but we're a beer bar so the martini glass doesn't really work

I'm thinking more of an old look and an older looking font. something similar to an old irish pub logo

#26 can you try it with the Riley's going straight across instead of an angle?

#27 can you take out pub and grill, make the rileys darker and maybe a little bigger even going past the border like on #26

#30 i like it, but i like the way rileys looks on #16. the color and boldness of the lettering,

Oh and the best part - it's a 2 color Pantone print job of a logo!

zero5150 #58 is a direct ripoff my logo and if you are going to copy something, at least don't forget "Pub & Grill"

So much for Riley's being Irish. The leaders you have are looking very "Germanic" rather than Irish. Cristanci's #35, Schnick's #29, and Saturninus' #7 are about as close as you have to an Irish Pub sign. Remember what the great chef, Gordon Ramsay always preaches: Be what you are...if you are Riley's Pub and Grill, you need to be Irish, not Germanic. Get into the heritage, man. Embrace the Riley name and its history.

Just uploaded the updated colors for the logo.

Chris, speaking of history, Germanic and Irish, were basically the same tribe, all considered Gauls and Germani tribes, so going back to heritage - as far as the Roman Empire, it is all pretty similar, colors and look and feel of the pubs. I should know I ran a bunch of them.

Funny you mentioned pubs also, my old office used to be at the Tri Hoffman Brau Restaurant, in Richmond Hill - Queens, NY which is almost 300 years old. The place was gorgeous, man they don't build pubs like that anymore.

One more - a few more bolts, a bit lighter, Rileys is a bit bigger. Zero, you are trying too hard!

Understood. If there's Germanic background (and I got a little more info from Mike) then that makes more sense. I stand corrected and understand better now.

You know what would be awesome ... if they served game at the pub, like wild boar, pheasant, deer, really good steaks maybe buffalo, smoked pigs feet and had really cool steins for the beer (preferably metal, everything else gets shattered to bits).

Man I am getting hungry just talking about it.

What are you talking about Sam?? Pretty sure you have just as many or even more submissions than I do. And ripoff? of what. Believe me I wasn't even remotely basing any ideas off of your designs other than the font request from the CH. Nice try though
