What We Do

Ridgebury is an investment business that owns very large tanker ships. The company is currently known as Ridgebury Tankers but is being rebranded under the name Ridgebury.

Color Preferences

Our company colors are orange and black, but we would like to deemphasize the black. It could remain as a color but mainly as an accent, and could also be replaced with a dark navy blue. We don't like the association of black with pollution, oil, etc. and are looking for something cleaner.

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

Our ships have a "stack logo" that is an "RT" in a diamond/compass rose shape with orange and black stripes (attached). Our current logo is also attached.

We are looking for something that is cleaner, more modern for our primary marketing logo (for presentations, business cards etc.) We will not change the "stack logo" but this is very common and typical that companies maintain this logo for decades or centuries, even as they change their brand image.

The logo should be crisp, professional, but not look like the logo an old law firm or accounting firm would use. It could incorporate maritime elements or at least the suggestion of these elements - ships, waves, wind etc. but likely not a literal tanker as we currently have.
