At this point I'll be going with another option, but you were a close second, and many of my friends and family members loved what you created. Thank you for your participation and for being so responsive to feedback. Good luck with your future projects! I may come back to you someday if I want to implement the crest in some way as you made my favorite of the crest options. Thanks! 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #250 Withdrawn Thank you for your revisions. You've done a good job understanding what I'm saying and making the adjustments. I have a few more comments: 1) The font style is a little simple or too traditional I think. The font choices of the other finalists are a little better. The font of the logo with the R that has roots growing out of a wine bottle is my favorite font currently, to give you an idea. The other crest logo I have ranked toward the top has a good font as well, and their R is similarly noteworthy. Your font and R should make a little more of a statement. 2) The gold of the crown and the R isn't quite right. I'm looking for a metallic, gold leafing type look where it looks like it's made of real gold. 3) This comment may be addressed in a separate submission from the first two comments, but I'd like you to create a version where like your original idea, the I is a wine glass, only it's the first I in Richwine, and it's a little smaller. I'd then like the R to be personified a little almost like the R is an aristocrat or some high class member of society, and the R is interacting with the wine glass I in some fashion. I really appreciate you taking my commentary and applying it. You've done a really good job with understanding what I've been saying! Good luck! 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #224 Withdrawn One more thing: string lights is something else that could be incorporated, either in one of the quadrants or elsewhere. 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #224 Withdrawn Alright, thank you for your submissions! A couple of notes: The crown is fun, although it doesn't quite feel right. Maybe it needs to be a different color or shape, or maybe on the R on in a different location? I'm not sure. Also, I like that you gave me options as far as where the green is and the shapes of the crest. I think this is my favorite, although I don't think I like the barn or barrel being just black and white. It might look like too much color if there weren't, but it still looks too bland if I look at those images. I do like a logo where there is a clear foreground (the R), but there is a lot to look at and consider. The river also isn't quite right. I think maybe it needs to somehow be blue? The finalists I've chosen have pretty varied options. I like this contest because I can see so many different things, and everyone has so many good ideas. There are elements from many logos that I turned down that I still liked. For instance, several individuals had options where gold was integrated. I do think that makes the logo look high class, which was fun. Or at least having a logo with the potential for parts of it to be gold in certain applications. Also, the R needs some modification. I want the R in the crest to match the R in Richwine. But, I also want that R to have a lot of eye-catching power and be able to be pulled from the logo and still stand on its own. It needs to be fancy, like a cursive type script, and/or strong and fun, like a steampunky script. Lastly, one of the reasons I chose you as a finalist, besides the fact that you listened to what I said and made a great option here, is the original idea you had with the W grabbing the wine glass I. It's fun and creative. Another individual you can see submitted an option where a wine bottle R has roots growing out the bottom. That is also fun and creative. I like the look of what you have here, as I like more complexity, but I do like what you had in your other logo with the W and the I. Not sure if that exact thing makes sense in a logo like this or if it's something else, but that or something like it being integrated would be appreciated. Hope that helps! 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #81 Withdrawn This is much better; I appreciate you understanding what I was saying. I think it feels a little too simple right now though. It might need something going on in the background and/or maybe the R could be larger and/or more ornate so it is more of a feature and could stand on its own. 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #8 Withdrawn The purple here I think needs to be a little more plum colored, if purple is chosen (darker and deeper). The font I think should be a little more modern maybe, and/or with taller letters. I like that the R seems to be a river and grapes, which I appreciate. 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #5 Withdrawn The font feels kind of close, but I'd like it to be fancied up a little bit. I really like the W holding the glass, because it's fun, but I think something about it looks a little cheap. It seems to be the curl on the W, but then also the glass of wine itself somehow looks cheap. 1 year ago
