I´ve went on a new direction so you could considerate something different. Let me know what are your thoughts about these new designs. If you need anything else just let me know. Thank you. Kindly Regards, João 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #35 Withdrawn Alright, I'll leave my commentary here for now. Thank you for your submissions! Here is a summary of my comments as I can see them currently: First of all, I like the look of this original logo here. I can't tell whether I prefer this look or the crest options you provided, but I can say that the other finalists are likely to lean into the crest idea, and since that was kind of the original image in my head a long time ago, that's likely where I'll end up leaning. So putting more effort into the crest is most likely right, although I like options so continuing to edit this and a crest option is a good idea too. Elements that I like in other logos that have been submitted that aren't as obvious in yours are: 1) the green here is a good green, but I like multiple colors I think, so a very dark purple and/or a dark blue and/or a gold should be included. 2) I hadn't originally pictured gold, but once some logos came in with gold I noticed that it did make the R or other elements look prestigious. I think mixing in gold somehow, likely the R, would be nice. 3) Richwine should always be above Vineyards. 4) There does need to be an R somewhere, like you've tried with the doors. In this option the R should definitely be on the doors, and in the crest option it should be in the foreground of the crest, and it should be the most obvious thing in that option. 5) I like your font in both options, so I'm not sure how you should make this edit, but your R has not been right. The R needs to either be fancy/high class with a cursive type script, or it needs to be modern but have some flair, like possibly steampunky, or somehow a mix of the two, if that exists. And then the R doesn't need to match the same font as Richwine, but it does need to match the R in Richwine. 6) In the crest option, Richwine Vineyards should be below the crest. 7) You started working on this, but as I commented before, the barn should look a little more like one of our actual barns. 8) This comment is a little more difficult, but a couple of the finalists had something creative in their submissions. One of them has roots growing out of a wine bottle R. Another had submitted an earlier option where the W was holding the I, but the I was a wine glass. Those logos have other things to work on, but I like that there was an element of creativity/thoughtfulness in there. If you're able to come up with something like that which creatively connects two things, or makes a subtle nod toward the business, that would be great. Hope that helps! 1 year ago jjbq commented on #143 Withdrawn Hello dear Rich, I appreciate your updates as always. We have a deal them, I will wait for your feedback and we can work from their in case you need any adjustments. As always feel free please. Thank you. Kindly Regards, João 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #143 Withdrawn I'm mostly just going to be ranking the next couple of days so won't have a ton of commentary. This one is the closest R, but we can talk more about this and the crest options you've provided after the blind phase is over. You will be one of my finalists. 1 year ago jjbq commented on #62 Withdrawn Hello dear Rich, I hope you´re starting well your weekend. I´ve submitted already some options. I know I need to work on the barn still, and on few other suggestions you made, but I didn´t had time. But still I just wanted to show your this options that I worked so you can considerate. If you need anything else just let me know. Thank you. Kindly Regards, João 1 year ago jjbq commented on #62 Withdrawn Hello dear Rich, I appreciate all your awesome feedback on my logos as always. Yes I Will do. Just an update cause i m traveling, but i believe tomorrow or monday i can submit revisions following your feedback. I just wanted to let you know in case you wonder why i migth delay submitting. Thanks you. Kindly regards, João 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #62 Withdrawn I do like the R you made, and I appreciate you taking the time to make your own design. I don't want to rule out this R, but could you maybe try an R on the doors that is quite a bit different in feel than the font below? A more cursive, ornate script? 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #90 Withdrawn Thank you for creating something like this. I have a few thoughts, but I'm not sure if all of them will make sense. First of all, we really like the river, so if that could be thrown mixed in with one of these pictures, that would be great. Maybe behind the tree, or the grapes and the barrel are combined? Second, Is there a way to make the barn look a little more like one of the ones in the pictures I provided? Third, I like the idea of the crest kind of being behind an R, or possibly behind the RICHWINE VINEYARDS you have made so that it's almost the background. Lastly, I'm not sure which style between the two crests I prefer (white with green images vs green with white images, or the est. and myrtle creek notations below the other one), but I do know that I like the RICHWINE on top of VINEYARDS better like it is in the other one. 1 year ago jjbq commented on #37 Withdrawn Hello again dear Rich, I appreciate your awesome feedback as always. I´ve worked on some different alternatives for you appreciation, please check and let me know your thoughts. If you need any changes feel comfortable to ask please. Thank you. Kindly Regards, João 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #37 Withdrawn I'm not sure about common animals. Birds are very prevalent so are definitely the most common (all kinds of birds), but otherwise we get a large variety of animals like deer, bunnies, foxes, turtles, etc. so no one of them would make much sense. I don't have a full picture of the crest in my head, but I've envisioned it incorporating aspects of the property or the business, like grapes or wine, barrels, the barn, the river, trees, lights, etc. With each quadrant of the shield having something different. Maybe one has the barn and lights, one has grapes and barrels, one has the river, and one has birds and trees. Or something like that. 1 year ago jjbq commented on #37 Withdrawn Hello dear Rich, I appreciate your awesome feedback as always. I´ve submitted a "R" that can fit better the "R" in the logo. I tried to play with the same "R" but was not working. And created this handmade "R" so you can appreciate. Its worked by me so its unique. As for the crest I will try to submit tomorrow something so you can appreciate since I will need time. Can you just tell me if theirs some common animals around the place that you would like me to include on the crest? Just giving a suggestion in case it makes sense. Thank you. Kindly Regards, João 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #37 Withdrawn I appreciate the attempt, but this doesn't feel quite right. I like the feel of the font you've chosen in the other logos. This feels too casual or something. And while I like the idea of grapes being incorporated, this doesn't feel like the right location. I made an edit to the information I had drafted about what I'm looking for, discussing the potential use of a shield/family crest. Please review that note and see if you can apply it in a logo as I like what you've done in most of your submissions. 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #36 Withdrawn See my commentary on your R logo and apply it here please. Also, I don't know if it's possible, but it would be cool if the R on the barn doors could match the R in Richwine. 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #35 Withdrawn The revisions here were great. I do like the one with the R on the barn doors, but the R doesn't quite feel right. 1 year ago jjbq commented on #9 Withdrawn Hello dear Rich, Hope you´re having a great day. Thank you for your great feedback. Submitted a few variations for your appreciation, please check and let me know what do you think. Also the standalone "R" where you can have flexibility to use apart from the logo. If you need changes feel free to ask please. Your feedback is always welcome. Thank you. Kindly Regards, João 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #11 Withdrawn I have left this one in here too as the circle aspect of it is fun, as are the string of lights and the grapes on the sides. The "R" comment on the other logo stands, as does the double door. 1 year ago trichwine08 commented on #9 Withdrawn I like the look of this. Couple of notes: If you could make the door to the barn a double door in the middle, that would be nice. I also think I like the string of lights you have in the other options. Please also change 2023 to 2022 as we were technically established last year. Lastly, I don't know if it's possible, but I do want the R to be able to stand alone in certain instances. Is there a way to make the "R" more of a feature? 1 year ago
