Hello
I appreciate your feedback but what you are asking is very different than what I have submitted. Many designers have followed your path and it is impossible to execute something similar without getting close to their designs.
Therefore, I have to withdraw my entries and wish you luck with the contest.
Thank you
Elena K.
Hello, thank you for your submissions! As you can now see, your submissions differ a little from kind of a common theme amongst the other finalists. The style of the logos submitted by the other finalists is preferred, but there are two reasons why I included you: 1) You're one of the few individuals who incorporated dark blue, and whether or not that ends up being included in the final logo, I like having that option and like the look of it, particularly with the green and gold. 2) You took my notes on the gold and the R and did a good job. There were several logos submitted that had gold that were very classy, and I liked that, but there were missing too many other things so I didn't include them. I appreciate that the gold here elevates the logo. I will say, however, that I think I would like the R that is elsewhere (in this case at the top of the logo) to match the R in Richwine.
So putting all of that together, I don't think the logo that you have here is right for me, but there are elements of it that are very good if you can apply the color scheme and the elevated gold look to a different format. Specifically a format where Richwine Vineyards is below a crest, and where the crest has an ornate R in the foreground (which should be the first thing you see when you look at the logo), with the crest being broken into four quadrants each representing something about the property/business (could be grapes and/or vines, wine, barrels, the river, trees, barn, etc.)
I like this one with the white font. I also like the dark blue/green combo. My only question/comment at this point would be whether it's possible to make the top R a little more of a feature; something that could also be by itself somewhere and be impressive. Maybe it's gold, or otherwise more ornate. Or maybe it's a little larger with a more eye-catching or impressive font. Not sure if that helps.
