We provide gentle chiropractic and functional medicine services.

Our target for chiropractic are people who are scared of twisting turning cracking and popping of joints. We use a computer system that is very gentle. It feels like gentle tapping on the back. This target includes senior citizens, children and people who would see a chiropractor but are afraid.

Eventually I would like to see functional medicine be the dominant side of the practice. In functional medicine we treat chronic health problems with diet, lifestyle changes and vitamin supplements Our target audience is male or female with complaints of depression, fatigue, weight gain, digestive disturbances, elimination problems. We identify the cause of these problems through lab testing. Since our services are not covered by insurance these patients tend to have a higher income. They also research their problems on the internet and are well educated.

Functional medicine is different as we attempt to treat the problem by identifying the root cause of the problem and address that as opposed to medicine which is primarily centered around treating symptoms.

I see a lot of functional medicine logos that have trees with roots. The idea is that we treat problems at the root level. Fix the roots and the rest of the tree will be healthy. Chiropractic is also about getting to the root cause. Trees also grow and so as your health is restored by working on the root issues the tree will grow and bloom.

Clients health is restored from the inside out. As they eat better, as they change their lifestyle through time management, exercise and stress management things such as yoga and meditation they grow. Just as a plant with poor nutrients will look sick, as long as their is life in the plant you can give it better water food and sunlight and it will heal itself.

I've seen examples with the logo in a circle and the name above or to the right of the logo that I have liked. I have also seen where a monogram of the letter "R" has been created bringing in the components of chiropractic and functional medicine. The emphasis is on the functional medicine part of the practice which is the tree or leaf. A series of growing plants could also be an idea.
