Visually attractive, I like boldness. My main hang up is using reverse lettering. Dont want in name at all. For the logo on top, it looks good, opens up design possibilities but??? Instead of RR, what if a simply house logo, same size, with arrow from #43 going left to right, not verticale as it is now but like 45 degrees. I prefer a picture logo than logo with initials.
#51 - I like it. Bolt with arrow make at least as think as in #43, if not a little thinker.Start from one end to the other end so bolt and arrow touch edge like #43.
OK to drop tagline/slogan as it can be added later.
Idea; If you can add any 3d effect, glass button effect, shadow would be ideal. Perhaps gradulated mirror effect below RichardRoop.com, glass button for house logo and maybe bolt arrow as a reflection on glass button?
#56: I like the added 3d feel. I prefer the circle of #51 over square. Can you make bolt a little thinker. Like the size of arrow head in #51. Like how bolt starts thinker and narrows as it gets higher. I like the cleaner, simpler house logo in #51 where it avoids fine lines and fine details. Variation idea: House looks like an arrow. Make door of house an arrow within the arrow, replacing bolt. Color: Like the black. Can I see some alternatives the the current shade of blue? (Red, green, gold royal blue)
Rich...I have had discussions with the "akronix" (current #1) about similarities in ideas...I have a feeling you like his button better and my font better and want a combo of both??? Unfortunately on this site, only 1 person gets the cash and glory and its not a "team" effort. On that note...I have to be creative but different and hope that it strikes your fancy...here are some entries in different colors.
For #103 and up, flatten bottom of round logo, like in #51. Have no outline border like #51. Have the white of house in #103 bleed to edge. Flatten slope of roofs slightly. Have roof top and corners of bigger house touch edge of round logo. Try replacing door on small house with another smaller arrow/house in the blue or in black. Make the black/gray background on #104 more solid black for contrast. #103 background (sky) behind house -- can I see a colorful sunset or sunrise! (i.e. gradulated yellow horizon to red to blue/purple sky)
ok...here are 6 more varieties...I tried the shift of the overlapped arrows just for haha's...also let me know about the blue...FYI...the darker we go the less it looks good imo
#133: Flat color not as good as before. Reapply color scheme from #120. Then if we can add some depth/shading to the logo now.... #133: 1) Logo as glass button. or 2) Black glassy button, with blue arrow button on top, then white arrow button on top of that or 3) Black button, with white arrow deeply recessed into it, with blue arrow created by walls of the hole. Thanks!
