At this point my business partner and I do not have any specific comments for any one entry. None are resonating with us. If you look at the 3 images I have attached, what feelings and emotions do they evoke? How can you make a logo evoke those similar emotions? These all seem very harsh and corporate thus far. We are looking for something more dreamlike...think paradise...high end...refined...romantic...exceptional

It seems that almost all the designs thus far are either Word Mark or Letterform Mark. Our request is for Pictoral Mark

"A pictorial mark uses literal or representative imagery to symbolize the brand"

I'm not seeming much interesting or imaginative imagery...mostly just various arrangements of the words.

Thanks very much for all your design ideas so far though!!!!!

The images included under the contest attachments are a good reference - individually and as a group. These are not images of our projects, but evoke the qualities we are working towards. A balance of classic and contemporary, warm but sophisticated; The logo should feel the same - with an edge to it that feels more current.

The logos here feel very corporate.
While the work we do might be classified as real estate development, our approach to the residences we are creating is comparable to that of a high-end boutique hotel, or an intimate, exclusive resort. A logo that could be confused for one of these business types would be closer to the mark.

I'm just not seeing anything that looks very sophisticated and upscale yet. It seems like a lot of clip art. As my business partner mentioned..think of a beautifully designed resort. Perfect lines....wonderful views....highest quality materials. We design residences though, so we don't want artwork depicting large towering structures. We also don't work in only tropical settings. We create beautiful residences in the city (contemporary penthouses)..in the country (big stone and brick estates) and also tropical villas. Our work is of the highest quality and our logo design must represent that....we are looking for someone that really "gets" this and our hope is to then work with this individual to further enhance our brand through other marketing materials possibly.

Thank you....
