My boss was saying its a little complex, we like the house idea its just a little busy to the left of the RRI.. Hope that helps give you some direction.
#144 is looking good.. Overall, can it be a little wider, like #38 (so its not quite so boxy looking) we also like how the letters pop more in #38 (maybe because thats because the outlines are a little darker in the lettering)
Basically we think this can be the one, it just needs to pop off the page more..
I still think the overall logo is too boxy looking.. Can we try using a closer font on RRI part to the RRI on #120. The font on the lower Rental Research, Inc is fine..
Anything else you can do to make the part on the left (house/sun area) look a little more abstract. In other words not a perefct box..
Ok, were 90% there.. Can we move the sun to the other side of the house and make the house slope the other way.. Similar to #158 because it looked like the sun was lighting the gold RRI (which we liked)
One thing I know my boss likes is the is the shinny metal look of #143 (4th overall) The logo really pops.
We were thinking one of the finishing touches could be to do the effect munki did with the grey and the light shadows. Make the top part by the sun more shinny and the lower part of the house a little darker
If you want we can wait till the last stage to do this, you are definately in 1st.
Your gonna kill me but the owner likes the clor scheme in #38 plus its a little more abstract.. He is killing me because our colors are gold but he likes the way it pops. You are definately going to win this but we should entertain him (because he is the boss)
So maybe we could do a hybrid of the two? Trust me you will win this we just need to entertain him..
Here's a little more refined version (#223). I sharpened some of the corners on the house, slightly thinned the white house outlines, softened the window corners a bit.
This is the new website we are building.. What do you think about the logo in the top left?
It almost looks to cartooney for our site.. We love how the logo will look on a business card, just not sure about the website if you know what we mean.
Ok, so her's the deal. We loved this logo but when we got the website more developed we realized it just doesnt match. So we'll give you a couple days to come up with something else thats a little more classy. I have seen your work and know you can.
I think at this point you know what we like, at least you have a good feel for it. My boss is leaning twoard the #2 entry at this point (due to how it will look on the website) but I think you can come up with something better.
Work off our site, we can lighten the shade a little but for the most part that is what we are working with. My boss likes gold/blue if you havent already figured that out :)
Thanks again, im really sorry for all this trouble..
Ok, I will give some specifics rather than just being general.
1. The angle of the left section of the house (it doesnt look right) if the front of the house is flush then the angle of the side should be diffrent. Folow? the angle is -- where it should have a slight sloap to give a deapth effect. Also the left section of the house could be a hair smaller and the white separating the two peices of the house could be a hair smaller too.
The last thing that just doesnt fit is the way the sun looks. I dont think is so much the sun itself but the way its fully incased in gold. I understand why the gold is there because thats how the sun is visible. If we can get the look of the sun effect down then this would be a rap.
