The font is part of the logo, but you can change it or update it at any time. I could send you the icon by itself if you want it separately for later use.

Is the font part of the logo, or is the font changeable once I decide on the logo/ design?

Can you put the tag line in this one just for visual appeal and comparison?

Yes, I'm going to sit on it and get a bit of feedback. I really do like this logo and as I said, am in love with the colors.

This one goes back to black name, green rule and darker frame. I think it looks good both with the light and darker frame, it's really a matter of your preference and what you like, either is good to me.

I think I like the other one better, you have a good eye. I think it may be too much, but one more with the frame a bit darker?

The frame is darker, and I made the green rule under your name black to avoid being too heavy on the green.

Sure, I think the darker gray will look nice if your name is in green. I'll show you.

PS I love these colors and think it is a great way to start off with a new website

Could we maybe do a few more things: 1) try a little darker frame around the logo, either green or dark gray, just to see how it looks, 2) try my name in the dark green color

This is just to help you visualize the question you asked me about centering above. You could use it both ways.

You can change your tag whenever you want, it really isn't part of the logo. Logos should stand alone, ideally, but many people want to know how a tag looks with the logo. If you change it later, you can always ask the designer to pop it in for you, or the files you get are editable by printers and they can change it. Any design with a graphic at left like this one can also be centered and still work well.

I saw that font, but I think anything cursive maybe doesn't work so well for this type of logo.

What other versions are available? Someone suggested I could do the logo in different variations to make it more flexible for different formats, such as stacking the logo, doing with with and without the tagline, etc. Also if I decide to change the tagline, do I need to do that before the contest ends?

Yeah, this looks too fancy. I don't think it quite works. I saw a font from a different designer but I understand I am not supposed to ask for revisions based on other people's work.

Also, whoever wins your contest can provide you versions with and without the tag.

I think this one looks pretty clean, but maybe the other looks a little more professional. Both work fine though.

Here's one with the tag line, but I want to look for a cursive type that won't look to cluttered with this design because now there's a whole lot of type and I want to keep it clean. Cursive can be tricky but I will search for one that's as minimal as possible.

Sure. Any colors you want will work.

Could we do this in dark green/ gray or shades on the color theme?
