Thanks a lot for your kind words. It is one of my favourite designs too, specially the 'fifties'-glow.
I understand your concern and I agree: it's not a logo that one can simply stick on any existing website.
On the other hand, should it be? The design has a special subtle 'character' (imho) that demands it's own needs.
This logo requires (a lot of) 'white space' around it, something that can be simply achieved and regulated, and will than stand up in any environment.
Also a reversed version can be usefull for web-site purposes.
In a perfect world logo and website will have the same 'feel', the same 'style' and could even share design-elements (for instance: a small, filled version of the tv in the logo could work very good for button-like purposes on the site). In this concept the logo fits by definition.
That should be important as the logo is the main carrier of your company-identity.
Not knowing that much about the actual content of your site-to-be I can very well make a mental design for your site and it's going to be great! :-)
