I wanted to communicate the concept through typography alone - the word relish flamboyant energetic, and fresh thinking in a cool stylish clean form. Feedback welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to work up a logo. I was pretty pleased when I saw this - I think it's getting very close to fitting what Relish is. This is a logo with warmth and vibrancy.
A slight concern is that the letters perhaps aren't as clear as they could be.
The green is a nice choice, but I'd be happy to see how other colours work too.
thanks for the feedback - in this one I've change the typeface, perhaps that helps the legibility?. Am happy t o work on colour variations - let me know what you think of this typeface. I'm also going to try a slightly bolder version of the other one which might help a bit too.
Thanks for your work on this. I'm really happy with the designs you're coming up with. I think you're hitting our brief well.
Entry # 17 is looking great, but I'm not sure on the hot pink. Maybe we could try a solid bold green, but nothing to sickly or garish. The light blue of entry # 18 could work.
On entries # 17, 18, 19 I would like the R to be a bit clearer. Yes, having the big curve to it adds flair, but maybe a bit too much.
I love the feel of # 19, but it feels rather similar to the Skype logo - maybe we could change change the blue for something else?
Entry # 18 looks great, but I think it looks like it's advertising a diner (albeit one I'd love to eat in!). It's probably the red that's done it. I'm not sure about using shadow either.
Entry # 16 is cool too. It's clearer than entry # 10, but I'm not sure it's quite as striking as entries # 17 or # 19
Thanks for the continued feedback - really helps the design process along .... thats it for the time being as its friday and the sun is shining - theres a pint somewhere with my name on it :)
Hi Husk. (Boss here for a moment, taken over from wittie B) #174 is looking good. We've decided to open out the colours more, so do try this in whatever you think is a good one e.g. #44. A couple of people have gone for orange which we did not think we like, but some look quite good so we've taken the 'no orange' off the brief. Like the single rather than graded colour and it seems more simple, contemporary when not too cluttered with drop shadow etc. I want something we can live with for a long time and for me, the more clean lined the more likely we are to achieve this. Also re #184 I do quite like this too. Thanks again for all your work.
