Hello, we still have 22 hours to go, and I wanted to offer feedback to the final 3 designers we have selected to see if you have the time to explore the logo designs.
1) The management team feel the all capitals / with the fonts chosen all look quite blocky. They would like to see a finer font, more delicate, perhaps more spaced lettering to give a very crisp and clean look. (Suggestions: Cera Pro, Heebo, Moon, FF DIN, Gilroy, Proxima Nova) Sans serif fonts. Also, please do look at it and consider whether ALL CAPS or Leading cap is the best approach.
2) We do like the jar device, but here we would like you to explore something a little more realistic, less cartoony. Some of the jar designs have been described as cartoony, not professional
3) The use of the lid is liked, also as a possible opportunity for a letter (e.g. R) or a symbol
We will check in with colours in terms of the darkness of the blue and vividness of the orange at the very final stage. Some feel it’s the harsh contrast here which can make us look more like an IT firm or too corporate.
I do hope this gives you some refinement guidance. Once again, I cannot thank you enough for your patience and work.
Great work here. We’ve been asked by our senior team to explore a less blocky, more fine font, perhaps letter spacing. We don’t want to move to anything too floaty, feminine, but perhaps a little more refined. You need only do this for 1-2 of your designs, as we can do a mix and match later so please don’t worry about editing them all! Thanks so much
- The logo will need to integrate the line ‘Insights with flavour’ as our slogan (you can do this now, or after we have decided on the winning one - if this is you!) where we’ll ask how this can be achieved
Morning! This came up on my mind. I thought it might work because the whole jar can be used in different shade of the rest of the logo and really draws the attention
In my opinion it's better to go with no details on the jar because the details are too small and they will be lost when you scale down the icon for favicon use etc.
Yes, making it more obvious just banalize the design. Leaving it in the same shadow as the lettering will give to it more intelligent and distinguish look
I think that removing the top opener on the R will give more focus on the jar and that R will still be readable. More uniqueness and charismatic of the letter will be accomplished as well
New concept which is is based on implementing the relish jar into the R letter negative space on simple but catchy way. I also created stand alone icon design, entry #303
This concept though represent conscious and well informed person. "i" letter present abstract figure of the man which head is filed with answers which he looked for a long time and he is excited about it :)
Concept of my new proposal is based on stylizing "i" letter as a exclamation mark. I choose to use exclamation mark because it's is a symbol of knowledge and reliable information, it also grabs attention and carries a lot of energy
The concept of my proposal is very simple and it's based on representation of the reaching the insight and clarifying the doubts through simple graphic placed at the end of the company name. I used bold and impactful but still friendly typography to communicate creative thinking and trustworthy personality of your team.
Your thoughts about my work would be highly appreciated!

You may need to slightly change the font for the jar in the h.
