hello Jeb,
i will have to withdraw my entries because i traced a duck from your picasa site.
if the photos aren't yours, i can't use them....
if they are yours, let me know and i can reinstate my entry.

either way i will rework the duck and submit a new one to you tomorrow.

Thanks.

no, they are not mine, I was just getting them off google images to use as examples. Man I love that image though, hope you can use something similar. As for the fire, I'm not sure it would look all that great with yours, but I was thinking maybe some "smoldering" post-fire smoke coming up from the beak might be cool.

The only other thing I can think of is add both words "RedHot RedHead" to the big text on banner.

Thanks!

here is my entry with the re-worked duck. i made him in more of a 'tucked' pose as opposed to the more 'head-up' version from before. also added the text change you requested. i will work on a version withteh smoke like you also requested.

and please mark the original entry 'not interested,' if you would....that entry will not be valid, so its no use keeping it around. i have tried to remove it myself, but there seems to be a problem.

let me know if you have any other ideas you'd like to see implemented. thanks.

I love entry # 10, only change I think might make it better is to add just a hint of black or darker line to some of the smoke so it stands out just a little more.

Also, lose the "e" in jerkey...should be jerky , at least that's the spelling version I prefer!

Thanks again. I think I am about ready to call this a done deal.

hi Jeb,
here is the updated version with the extra 'e' taken out of jerky. also added a slight dark stroke to the smoke to make it stand out like you said. let me know if there are any more changes you'd like to see.

realized the one you have ranked first right now still has jerky spelled wrong so here is one that is the same but has the correct spelling.
