ref 2 is a ppt file and it doesn't open in all systems if you can re-upload in a different format would be helpful.

Also do you definitely want a character of that style in your logo or is that just one idea?

Re-uploaded as a JPEG.

We're still very open as to what the final logo could look like. It could be like that character or not.

In seeing the characters that have been designed, it has dawned on me that perhaps a gamified character in a lab coat might be appropriate.

That said, also open to logos not containing a character at all.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion.
~~ When you provide feedback to designers, you increase the chances of getting the logo you want. More feedback = better results!
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

Hi All,

The client asked for an extension to allow any more ideas to be submitted.

FOR NEW DESIGNERS COMING IN WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MAJOR DEPARTURE FROM THE CURRENT.

We are looking for a clean, simple word mark logo with a small twist that can give our firm the adaptability we will need. Any character(s) we would use would then be secondary.

We would like to get some word mark logo that is very similar to the Novel logo displayed here, which is my former company logo. http://www.retailrushgame.com/
