that's cool! I like the smaller icons and how they're just floating in the arrows. Maybe get rid of all equipment and only use food items? Perhaps reduce the size of the arrows/circle so that it is still going beyond the space constraints of the words but is overall a bit smaller?
Thanks for trying. Definitely like the original design/colors better. If you have other ideas that could incorporate food but in a different way, I'd love to see it.
I would definitely like to see this with four food items/shapes instead of the kitchen tools. Since I like your color scheme, maybe a red apple, yellow banana, orange egg, and the 4th could be something that looks like a class carafe of liquid (to represent milk, oil, etc)? Then I'd like to see it with the circular arrows as well as "x" arrows in the middle. This design is definitely in my top 2.
I'm getting comments from friends. Someone said they like the clean look of this one but don't get the sense of transformation (others are using arrows, colors, etc to represent change). Do you have any ideas? Instead of kitchen utensils, would there be an interesting way to show one food getting swapped for another? Or four different shaped foods with arrows in the middle?
Thank you for doing this for me! My friends talked me down last night and I'll be sticking with the word "recipe", but I appreciate being able to see it!
I have a request. I'm really early in the process of making my website and debating calling it "ingredient substitutions" instead. Is there a way I could see this design with the word INGREDIENT instead of RECIPE? Perhaps with the fork in place of the second "i"?
One thing I was thinking was if you were to replace the "I" with a fork (either matching blue or a different color) and then replace the fork that's hanging with a different utensil?
I like this one. Thinking the word substitutions would be increased in size so that it is the same width as the word recipe.
Also wondering if the two arrows showed some kind of color variant where they start as one color and change into another, incorporating various colors, that could be used into the colors I use on the site.
If you did that, I think leaving the words "recipe substitutions" would look really sharp and the graphic would add that pop of color.

Still curious to see what it would look like with the graphic being the same height as the words and put in front of the words instead of on top.
Not sure if it would look best with the graphic being one solid color like you have, or having each utensil as a different color. Thanks!

Would like to see the word "substitutions" with larger font so that it is as wide as the word "recipe"
