What We Do
Marketing residential real estate for sale, marketing (our own) new brand (to build real estate business) and recruiting real estate professionals to join our national network.
Industry
Real Estate
Color Preferences
Color hasn't been considered, but I like green associations, including the "eco" image. Blue and orange associations also have meaning to our business idenity and culture.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The evolving concept started with the reality of "door to door" sales or marketing (odd but it still works), the new spin has come from a softening and renewal of the concept to "porch to porch" simply because we have a great porch and the image is real and meaningful - a friendly, welcoming, comfortable place where personal business or relationships can be started, conducted and enjoyed. As the concept evolved, we began to think of the walking, door to door, then footsteps, steps and now to the footprint as a indentifying element. The use of a "footprint" as a logo device could be a central part of the image...we think a footprint advertising piece, stickers for example could be widely and effectively used (on sidewalks, poles, walls, etc; non-stick naturally so they can be removed without damage). Picture these "feet" marking the trail to the house for sale on your street.

Ultimately, the logo design might have multiple treatments, specific home/property marketing, marketing company identification, another similar image for the recruiting division..."right steps" to your new career...

Thanks for considering this project!

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

I have uploaded an image that was drafted as a logo idea - by my son, and now I'm interested to have professional artists contribute to the concept / design. I'd like to use a footprint, or foot step, image in some way with the logo. The words "real estate, marketing, services, recruiting" should NOT be part of the logo. I'm looking for a creative interpretation of the business concept as outlined, with a image/graphics that is mostly image...words would come later. I don't actually have a name for the business at this time.

THANK YOU for your ideas and creativity!!

The recent round of entries are really exciting. Because the shape of the image and the message that it will convey is critical, these logo options are looking great. The words or wording is not important at this point.

I started with the idea of a shoe print or foot print (but not barefoot) that will convey quality, style, energy, forward movement.

I'm really excited to see the great artwork, please inquire or contribute!

One of you will win this contest...the designs are great and now new ideas are coming into focus:

the name is
Ken Dickson
Porch to Porch Real Estate

The footprint / shoe print idea is mostly OUT, we could not get an image that worked well.

All the comments made to individual designers are accurate, but we're shifting the plan:

The house / roof / porch images are desirable, a tree is good. green color is good but multiple colors are better. Forget the shoe print...
Whatever makes for a strong, memoriable REAL ESATE / HOME / HOUSING / RESIDENTAL image or images is most valued.

And, now the wording has come into focus: Ken Dickson * Porch to Porch Real Estate are the primary word messages.

The entries are great. Thanks for all your contributions!
I don't know how we can decide among so many great logos!

I have never done a logo before so I really appreciate all your help.

Now I realize that I have to consider other graphics, in this case, the Keller Williams Realty, logo (attached in both linear and stacked versions) and the KW bug (not attached, maybe there isn't space for another).

These graphics will be used with my "Ken Dickson porch-to-porch" brand logo sometimes. We must also determine how the Ken Dickson logo will work on real estate "for sale" signs, "open house" yard signs, banners, business cards, stationary letterhead and what the consumer reaction is to the proposed logos! We are working on this now and will rely on your help as we test different entries in the next couple of days before a winner is finalized.

Thanks again for all your work. I think we have found a very effective system to develop new graphics!

Regards to you all,
Ken
