Our Target Audience:
Active lifestyle, outdoor enthusiast, avid sports and activity participant, a driver of nicer cars. Demographic is primarily Babyboomer. but young as 40+ Men and eventually a women's line. Line will appeal to drivers, pilots, entreprenuers and professionals that spend extended time in their vehicles or outdoors either professionally or for leisure with the need to read while on the road.
This shouldn't be more than two or three colors with black and silver(or bronze) being the anchor colors. Maybe another color for an accent but it will be for printed use. The logo should stand alone as a one color (metal badge) for use on the frames (so simple one color application for the icon part of the design) but also translate into promotional collateral like shirts, hats etc.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
luxury brands that have recognition via text as well as icon format to the logo. Examples like Bentley or Mercedes Benz, or the new corvette stingray icon. Oakley is a good example of a split use logo. Lexus , Acura and Mazzerati are also good examples of a split use design.
