The "n" coming back is nice, but I think the fish in the R gets lost, and just looks cluttered. The colors in #52 are not quite right. They lok OK on Ray, but as a the border for the oval, I think it's too dark and a bit boring. Text within the oval is waaaay to hard to read. Remember, when used on TV, we're looking at a resolution of 72 dpi. Everything needs to be clean and bold. The text could float over the oval and leak out a bit to give it more room. Maybe push the color palate to a more metallic look, aluminum or gold? Forrest 13 years ago forrestfox Client By the way, I really like your "Swank" design. Maybe see if you can bring some of that feel (color) into this one. 13 years ago forrestfox Client After some more study, I like the fish in the R. Just need to reduce the fin a bit and move it left a bit. Maybe just one short sweep is enough. 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Thank you so much for your feedback. I'll try to make all the modifications that you mentioned.I can also make more changes and variations.Take care - Kent(This comment references Entry #75) 13 years ago forrestfox Client Nice. Keep playing with different - more "bad ass" backgrounds. Maybe bring in some ocean elements (wave shapes in the reflection, colors, etc.). The gold oval is simple and elegant, and does not take away from the signature - which is good - but it's maybe too high-class for us. We're more of a billet aluminum thing than a polished fine metal. The "Angling tactics..." text is still tough to read (i know it's a mouthful). Try a different font, something that contrasts the signature??? Hand-written printing instead of script? 13 years ago forrestfox Client How about signature sitting in a water puddle, with some sunglasses on the table? What do you think? Don't spend the time on it if you don't like the idea. 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Thank you for all the feedback. I'm also in Florida. Naples. Heading to Sanibel - Captiva in a little while. Thanks again - Kent 13 years ago forrestfox Client Kent - Let's try a completely different approach to the background.Lose the oval, water.Create a background "disk" that has very bold, sans serif path type around the top "Angling Tactics"... Around the bottom "& Techniques". Disk should be about 2/3 the size of the signature, and have a little bit of a 3D angle to it. Non metallic, I think.Kinda like your "Spin" logo - but the signature extends well outside of the disk, and there's a distinctive layered look. See where I'm headed? Starts to look kind of like a college sports logo, with academic lettering that's easy to read. What do you think? 13 years ago forrestfox Client Example:https://logotournament.com/contests/scottsdale_hustle_baseball 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Thank you, I'll get right on that modification. 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer And of course colors ca change and any other modifications you might want.Thank you - Kent(This comment references Entry #85) 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Made the signature bigger in comparison to the disc.I really like this one (#86).Thanks - Kent 13 years ago forrestfox Client That's pretty sweet. Now, how do we get the signature (especially the "fish R") to not get swallowed up by the matching color in the disc? What's it like with an all "silver" signature over the blue or the dark red? Other ideas?Forrest 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Hello Forrest,Thanks! I can provide it with a different color disc. 13 years ago forrestfox Client Very well done . Gonna sleep on it and see if we can settle on some final colors. Can you put one up with an all-red disc, silver signature, please?Forrest 13 years ago forrestfox Client And I suppose we do need a little "with"in there somehow. 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Like #90? I really like these logos. Thanks - Kent 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Here is one with “with" also all the text in silver since the beige was close to that.(This comment references Entry #94) 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer This one is just to show that when on dark background it still looks great. Thanks(This comment references Entry #95) 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer This one I moved the signature over just a little and filled in some of the spaces near the fish so it is easier to see. Thanks(This comment references Entry #96) 13 years ago forrestfox Client Perfect! #96 That was the problem! 13 years ago Luckykid Logo Designer Thanks!! 13 years ago forrestfox Client Kent- Ivan just cancelled the contest based on a request I made before you got your design in.
