Hi, here are my initial entries for your consideration. Though I know you initially didn't want images associated with rain, I had an idea that I wanted to present to you. The icon in my entries has dual meaning. The negative space depicts an umbrella tilted at a 45 degree angle, while the positive space depicts a simple plane and its jet stream flying upward and forward through a cloud. The plane and its movement represent growth, and the two symbols together are a visual metaphor for rainmaking. I've tried it in both one and two colors, and I paired it with a sans serif font to keep it from seeming overly formal. It's simple, a bit clever (if I do say so), and unique.

I'd love to have your feedback.

Many thanks!

Hi Lindsey,

You're way too modest--that's much more than a bit clever.

At first I saw only the umbrella; saw the negative image only after I read your explanation. (one reason why you're the designer and I'm not). I don't know if the plane part will looks a bit too much like a butterfly.

I like the san serif font, but given that my audience is highly analytical, and the the image is very imaginative, I would like to see the text a bit more formal. The "for lawyers" is too informal and would like to see the letters in "rainmaking" a bit more sleek and less rounded . Would also like to see how this looks if the length of both lines of text were the same. That might give the logo a stronger overall feel, something I would like for a consulting firm.

I like the color in # 19 a bit more. Given that rainmaking has a strong financial connotation, curious to see if some amount of green might work.

Thanks again for your creativity: I'm looking forward to your next designs.

Thanks Lindsey for the newest designs. It's getting hard to distinguish between designs and identify which version I like best. I understand it's ok to ask for slight revisions in the judging phase.

Thanks for your designs. They are clearly in the running as I start to make my final choice,

Gideon
