I like the the text layout of #6,#7,#8. The wing effect is interesting and I like the idea, but my wife thinks it looks like a moustache. Maybe a more angular or delta wing (angled up or down?) would work?
Definately an improvement. I'd still like to see it without the curves.. using straight lines. The line accross the top could go all the way across - no higher than the first R and also behind the the top of the R as it goes across. The middle of the line would "V" down and fit into the v of the M in RAINMAKER.. Does that make sense?
