What We Do
Rads on a Plane provides air travelers with estimates of how much radiation they are exposed to depending on the air route they are flying.

Color Preferences
We are not set on colors and would like to see a range. Cosmic rays are related to solar flares which trigger auroras - so that is one possibility. Space and cosmos colors are also possible. But a straightforward catchy logo that comes to embody Rads On A Plane with public perception is just as important.
Blues, reds, oranges, greens are good colors to start with. Maybe yellow.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Incorporating the image of a plane or air flight seems like a priority - but we are open to seeing a word-based logo as well - a dynamic logo that captures movement in some way. The goal of our program is to provide information that will help travelers make choices about flying - so it's a service to help people travel. We are measuring cosmic radiation that is invisible but which bombards us every time we fly (for example, a single cross country flight in the US can be as much as a chest xray or 10 dental xrays).
All that said we want a logo that will be easily recognizable and that will work well with modern social media requirements - such as having a social media button adaptation - so we don't want it to be overly complex with too many visual elements.
