Hello all,

We want to clear up a situation that may influence some to wrongly follow direction.

1) Q with an art brush in the '\' is already used.

2) Smile face is already used.

Other designers may not use these concepts.

ink drops off limits too? for a print industry

HLLE why is this? the inicial idea of the brush was mine that why I told them to add them nobody came with the brush first also the smiley is something that characterizes my brand right now so I want the logo to have an smiley please understand this and let other designer make this concepts, thank you

Hi boehringer91, you are correct. The idea of using brushes came from you. All the designers can submit designs with brushes. Only the use of the brush as the tip of the Q is reserved for me because i submitted #24. You did not specifically mention this direction in your design brief or the public comments before i submitted #24. That's why developing the design based on this idea is reserved for me. This rule is to help protect the creative ideas of the designers participating and also encourage other designers to introduce new concepts and ideas. This is actually beneficial for you because you get to have lots of different designs to choose from.

Same with dodihanz's use of the smiley face. Before you mentioned the use of it, he was first to submit it in his entry #5. He alone deserves the right to develop the idea further.
