Hey There! Thanks for some wonderful logos. We moved the alternate color logos and non-applicable (boating, see below) to not interested, only to minimize the ranking work but we love them all! keep it up.
Here's what we adore: 1. Love the mountain with the cabin in white /negative space in front of it. 2. Love that these can easily be made into pure b/w logos 3. For # 5, we love how you struck such a balance between simplicity while still conveying the message we want. 4. For #8, we love the addition of the water / creek and trees.
A couple of notes to keep in mind: 1. There's no boating on the creek (too narrow), so a simple water representation is great, but boats are not applicable. 2. We asked for a lot of trees, but are now thinking maybe three in the logo (say #8) would be enough, possibly more if an emblem or spread out. 3. Can we see an emblem version of 5 and 8?
Please note: the shuffling around in the rankings do not take into consideration any pending work you're working on based on our comments. Once we get more items and versions that are emblematic, we anticipate your designs will make it back up
Hi Liliya, I didn't see any logos after your last comment. Just want to make sure we don't miss anything as your early concepts were impressive and we're eager to see revisions.
Your updates now have you in the top 5! Can we see versions on the following: #85 and #81, we like the sun, but not too crazy about the sunburst. Can we see a solid version, and other ideas for depicting the sun (we seem to like sun that is behind something).
for #81, we like the trees, but they seem different in style to the flowing curvilinear lines of the mountains, creek and cabin. Can you try other versions or more stylized trees (or just one tree) that is in the same linear flowing style? Would love to see that.
Good morning and happy holidays (merry Christmas if you celebrate). Thanks for your continued efforts. In your designs, it will come down to either simple pain elegance or a bit more detail. So we’re keeping #111 (with slight revisions) and the more detailed #113.
For #111, the only specific change at this point for your works is possibly smoothing the creek under the cabin (ie the white line that curves back in the larger mountain from left to right above the words ‘quiet creek’ ). Please leave the shape as is, we love it. But can you look at the line and make sure it’s smooth… could be not reproducing well in the thumbnail but appears to have a few jumps/breaks in the curve?? Again this could just be due to the reduction in the image, and if so, no changes are needed.
The only other change to #111 is for the shape of the windows. I will be posting a general comment to everyone on this, basically the next time anyone makes a revision to please consider changing window shapes where possible if the design has 2 or 4 square window panes to two triangular window panes (that match the roof line) as in our google plus photo, see link below. If there is only one square window pane, please insert one triangle to match the roof line.
For #113, same comments about window shape, that will be general soon. Also for #113, we like the two trees (balances and symmetry with 2 mountains) But the line son the trees are still too harsh. Can we soften them, make more curves say similar to the tops of the mountains, more bowed in (down) to match the style? You can also do one large tree instead, up to your artistic direction. The only thing holding this design back is the trees don’t match the elegance of the mountains.
Hi Nymalba, Per our general post, would love to see your #143 and #144 designs in different emblem shapes. Yours lend themselves to Hexagon, shield or circle. Or maybe a square / rectangle emblem with a border around it?
We prefer the symmetry and design of #143. For #144, can we make the tree thinner in revisions. We would still like to see a version of your emblem with that tree.
We'll be finalizing fonts and colors in the next phase, but for now, let's do 2 colors your navy and orange and omit the light blue and yellow. Hard to visualize final product with that many.
Hi Liliya, Thanks for submitting #165 and #166. These really help us visualize your design as an emblem. We like the way #166 came out and how you took advantage of the circle.
Does it make sense to bring one small tree element into either of these?
We really like the look of #170. Can we see the following changes to help us visualize more: a. The text "Quiet Creek" seems to be a few points larger and running off on the right (the k in Creek). Can we re-size so it doesn't feel as crowded, but not too much. c. Let's swap out the orange color for a pine green (medium color?) or swap the deep blue for a light blue and the orange for a deep pine green (your artistic choice). One of our managers is having a hard time visualizing the logo in orange (I like it, but can't account for taste, lol). d. Once the changes done in C. above, can we also see a pure B/W version to help with the visualization.
One more minor change. The current size of windows in #170 almost makes the cabin look like a tent with lights on an nobody home (see the tent pole holding up the tent?). One of our managers said it might convey a camground which we are not.
Would it be better to reduce the windows slightly 30-40% by raising the horizontal line of the bottom of the triangles up a bit? It should minimize the effect and look like vaulted ceiling windows which they are.
