please hit me up with feedback/directional input... so far i think #10 would be the best fit on buss. cards, letterheads and gear...the "QC" in the middle would look dope as embroidery too (hats/sneaks/sweatbands, etc.)...
ok..so here's a few variations.. i think #26 & #27 are more what u're looking for...if not, keep the feedback comin and i'll get there!
Oh, and fyi; i usually stick with solid colours as u can tell because it also must look good in black and white (anything faxed ie: cards or letterhead).. when you start adding crazy effects, all of that turns to mush if u ever have to fax something....but if u don't plan on it, then the world of some pretty cool ish can be yours...
so instead of the Q and C sharing the outside of the logo middle, #37 shows an idea with the Q on outside, and the C becomes the negative whits space on the interior...please leave me some feedback... --j,
we like the new adaptations. however, could you change the purple to more of a royal purple / true violet? right now it seems a little too magenta-y. also, just to see how it looks, can you angle the tail of the Q a bit? not sure if it'll work, but might as well ask.
we'd love to see more effects if you are up to it. maybe we might have to take a "simple" document logo and a more rich one for web applications. we're flexible. :)
also for #26 and #27, like the concept, but maybe keep the Q the purple and shade the "C" in the greytone rather than have the Q gradient from purple to black. the gradient sort of loses the QC aspect. thanks!
• royal purple instead of the lavender-y shade (yes, i said 'lavender-y' haha) • angled tail on 'Q' (wasn't sure how it would look, but i think it turned out well) • 'Q' is now solid colour • grey 'C' in middle • drop shadow on 'C' to make it 'pop' off the 'Q' quite nicely
* note: i had to re-adjust the wording on either side to rebalance everything, but i think it looks better now anyway =]
#47 --> same ish, but with a metallic (but not ghetto-bling) look to the 'C'
with entry #47, could you also change it back to the tail of the Q being horizontal. i would like to see both versions in the royal purple. i actually am leaning toward the non-angled tail, but i have to run it by all the guys.
I really like where it has ended up . can't think of any tweaks at the moment, but if you have any ideas on improvement or enhancement, i'm open to see them . thanks for your work so far .
#140 --> i adjusted the spacing between the letters...more balanced. I'll do the same to #50 and upload...keep the feedback coming please...it's crunch-time! haha
#141 --> ok; so i've extended the tail of the 'q' in the werding so that it's equal inside and outside of the 'q'...i've also reduced the width of the 'u' slightly so that all the letters are more uniformly balanced and now both 'quest' and 'crew' are the same length.
I don't know if this will hurt my chances, but i honestly like this one as a primary logo since it's the most simple, and i see the rest as different variations or mutations for different pieces of merch..(shirts, hats, etc.).. and #142 i can see on it's own- on a shirt, dvd or poster once the brand is recognized-- which you won't have a problem with anyway.
Let me know what u think!
----aaaaaand this has been a great opportunity for me to be a part of regardless of the outcome.. 1st saw hok in his FIRST attempt on sytycd (no work visa if my memory serves me correctly), and then sorta kept following and found u guys and have been a fan ever since...almost had an accident when i saw the flip-push over 2 ppl (very reminiscent of a Streetfighter Fireball) !!! SO: thank you & hope u all find what u're looking for..
for a stand alone logo without the text "questcrew" can you give some variations of that could be? it's very clean and easy right now, could you perhaps give a little more design and flair?
i'm still dropping in rank?? haha...like burning knives in my eye...haha all good . hope u guy get what u're looking for ...still a fan. u guys are dope.
