Be a part of the history by contributing your design! This hottest Silicon Valley Start Up is bound to make a history in Virtualization industry. This contest winner's masterpiece will be viewed by millions of people. Note that this is a second redesign attempt and we have a pretty good idea what we would like to see, but eager to get inspired by some fresh, out of the box designs. The challenge (or maybe an advantage for the creative mind) is to reflect the concept of the Data Virtualization (DV) in a logo.

In a nutshell, our DV software crawls data sources (files, databases, documents, web sites, etc), creates a meta-description of the information, recognizes common things within data and combines common objects between sources. For example, we will recognize the same Customer across all databases and create one virtual customer in our universal source. After all processing is done, business users need only to login and use Queplix data access point from their business intelligence applications to get their relevant information.

Comments based on the few logos submitted today:
1. The LOCK icon as in "Secure" is not the main emphasis of the logo. Data Virtualization, abstraction is. Even though Secure is the first word in the slogan.
2. Colors are too light blue or too dark blue. Prefer in the middle somewhere.
3. The slogan needs to go the length of the word "Queplix" and under it obviously.
4. No Globes or in general no Global or Earth symbols please

We want to concentrate on the Abstraction, Combining Multiple sources into one, and Data, Data, Data, we are all about Data

Ok I am a bit lost now that all my entries have been marked "Not Interested" without a comment. Remember, the designers are trying to come up with a logo to suit your needs. If you leave no specific feedback, you will continue to get random entries or much less participation. This is what you DON'T want. The more info you give will yield more and better results.

Sure, I am trying to post it right away, but there is a time difference. We just didn't like the stylized Q, it did not look good with all the jagged edges and pieces..

Also blue is too dark and uses gradient - we would like little lighter shade of blue and steady color.

Dear Steve@queplix,
negative feedback is just as useful as positive feedback...as long as you offer direction we can tackle new avenues for you...so you can use the bad ones as guidance rather than canning them...some designers actually delete the "not interested" ones...so we may not know what you didn't like about them. Just a suggestion, thank you so much.
